I get requests for certain canine dietary requirements, frequently. I had a request from a pet parent about treats for their diabetic dog. I did extensive research on it. Our plain PB treats are ok for diabetic dogs, but dogs with diabetes need smaller treats with complex sugar, little carbs and no starch.
Dogs with diabetes need to eat more times per day with smaller portions.
So, i ditched the molds and rolled the dough, then cut it with a cookie cutter. Thin slices and I used my smallest cookie cutter.
These are made with organic dried pumpkin powder, coconut milk, oats and oat flour.
Let's see how they turned out.

The 4th of July is not a great day for many dogs with noise anxiety.
Macy's Favorites makes two flavors of calming treats.

The Apple Crunch with Chamomile is perfect for older dogs. It not only helps them remain calm, but also chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties to keep your furkid comfortable.

The Calming Peanut Butter has a splash of valerian to help your pet remain calm and aid their sleep.

Each flavor can be made in small, medium or large treats.

These can be delivered locally (Auburn / Opelika area) in bakery bags or vacuum sealed.

All shipments are vacuum sealed.

Peanut butter treats have a 3 week expiration, unless vacuum sealed.
All others have a 7 -10 day expirations, unless vacuum sealed.
Vaccum sealed treats will last up to 2 years while sealed - and expire by the guidelines above once opened.

I've gotten several new followers, since Bark in the Park - all of whom, I am tremendously grateful to add to "the pack".
The whole reason I got into this space was to help my own dogs. When, I started paying attention to the food I was giving them, that's when I began changing what they ate.

Welcome aboard! I make dog treats. No sugar, no salt no preservatives.
Is that limiting? Yes. But, these are our furbabies!

We completely sold out of our "Apple Crisp" treats today (Applesauce, carrots and oats).
The original recipe used sweet potato which is great for senior dogs - it helps with digestion, inflamation, and arthritis.
The sweet potato treats must be delivered same day, kept refrigerated, and lasts for 5 days - but doable. Just reach out to me, if interested.
