Well, Hilda turned 2 years old on Monday. Started her heat as well. Pending all looks good at the vet tomorrow , OFA CHIC xrays, will be doing a planned breeding.

Well, Hagrid has done well. The hips are good. Eyes, dentition, elbows, and patellas are normal. DM clear. HE'S READY TO STUD!

Now he's just chillin' after AI collection. The vet said, " Hagrid is easy to collect from and great sample!" This is the first of Hopefully many vet trips. Komondor is less common, and he's a huge which is wanted in the breed.

Dr. said Hagrid has beautiful hips, patella are normal. He has full Dentition. One test shy of Komondorok OFA CHIC. Hilda will go March 28 for the same check up after her birthday March 25.Hagrid weighed in at 153 lbs.

I didn't know if Hilda, my komondor female, was going to plate up or not. She finally did. We were splitting it down to cords this morning. She will turn 2 at the end of this month.

This is my males 4th winter. He's always been good. That first year he had a heated pad and never used it.Now summertime is a different story. He doesn't handle heat well.

The Komondor was bred for cold and nasty weather. Their thickly corded coats protect them against the elements, making them a good choice for cool climates. They can also do moderately well in warm climates. Their white fur reflects the heat, but it is still thick and makes them prone to overheating. Limiting time outside in hot weather is the best way to keep you Kom happy and safe.

Kid tested puppies. Ryan is 3 and has been with puppies since birth. He was my kiddos that when you couldn't find him he was in the puppy box every chance he got.
