“Well Hiya! My friends here at the shelter call me "Big Mac". Right after Christmas I got lost and ended up at the shelter. The folks here found my person and called them but sadly, they could not take me back because they lost their housing. So here I am, looking for a new home and hoping it can be a for-always home!

Everyone here will tell you what an affectionate and well-mannered boy I am. I have a heart full of love. I am a terrier mix who weighs a little over 15 pounds. People here say I am a "social butterfly". I think they call me that because it means I am always ready to make new friends. I just love being around people and I am happiest when I can interact with humans.

My leash skills are on point making walks a breeze for my humans. I enjoy a playful romp but a cozy cuddle is great too! My friendly nature and good behavior make me a joy to be around. I am ready to make someone the perfect companion. If you are looking for a loyal and loving furry friend, PICK ME!!"

Please be advised to plan ahead if you have a grooming appointment booked this Friday through Sunday. We cannot accommodate grooming appointments that are more than 10 minutes past appointment time due to the negative impact it has on the rest of the customers.

Great ready for a "monster weekend 👻" of road closures Friday through Sunday (get it, cause it's gonna be really bad, like a monster and it's almost October? whatever). Our friends at WSDOT are planning several major highway and ramp closures in the region, and many of this will affect you! This work includes a full closure across Lake Washington on SR 520, directional closures and full closures through the Interstate 405/SR 167 corridors, ramp closures on I-5 in Seattle, and nighttime full closures of I-5 between Federal Way and Tacoma.

Detour routes cannot accommodate normal traffic volumes during the weekend, so WSDOT is recommending travelers check their social media accounts and real-time travel maps: https://wsdot.com/travel/real-time/
