Safety Tips for the Holiday's! For our cat homes, make sure holiday ornaments and decorations are up and away from your furry feline friends. Cats love shiny and bright objects and are drawn to the lovely holiday decorations we have. Elevating the Christmas tree or using a gate around it can be beneficial to keep your cat away from the tree. Poinsettias are extremely toxic to cats so faux options are great to keep the beauty of the flower in your home during the holidays.

Empty the Shelter event is happening NOW! Stop by the Bay County Animal Services and see the adoptable pets they have.

Are you ready to find your new best friend?

Once again, the BISSELL Pet Foundation is sponsoring Empty the Shelters 🐾
Bay County Animal Services will be participating Monday, December 2nd through Saturday, December 14th.

As always, this is a reduced-fee adoption event. Our fee schedule will be as follows...

Dogs (any age) $50
Kittens (6 months and under) $50
Adult Cats $25

All pets placed during the event will be spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting during the event, paper applications can be found in the shelter office, or may be submitted by email via the county website.

Here are some quick tips and questions to help you prepare! Each pet may differ slightly on pre-op and post-op care, but a discharge sheet is provided to help navigate each pets' individual needs.
