It's Tripawd Awareness Day! This day honors pet amputees and the people who care for them. Sometimes amputation is inevitable and the best option for pets. The blessing is that our furry cat and dog family members have extra limbs to help them balance. After amputation, most pets do great on their three limbs and function/have the same mobility as those with four limbs! We do recommend taking extra care of the remaining limbs by keeping your pet at a healthy weight and making sure the joints stay well lubricated with a joint supplement.
