July Pet of the Month is Casper!

Nicknames: Cappy, Capper, Bubba/Bubba-roe, Kippy

"Casper was born in Dec 2012, making him 11 years old currently! He is a sweet and cuddly cat that LOVES to sleep on his bean bag chair or any cardboard box he can fit in. He is also quite odd sometimes as he loves to close any door he can find and then meow to be let out, so we have to be careful that he doesn't trap himself. He also prefers playing with the stick of a cat toy than the actual toy on a string at the other end. But at the end of the day, we wouldn't trade him for the world!"

With the 4th of July coming up, it's important to start thinking about ways to keep your pet calm and safe. The fireworks can be scary! Make sure you have a safe, quiet space to go to reduce anxiety. If your pet is one that needs medications to remain calm, call ahead to get them filled. Make sure they have collars with your contact in case they were to get loose.
