Hey Friends! We are hiring! Delivery Driver/Yard Associate. Starting pay is above minimum wage and goes up with experience. Starting wage is $18-$22 depending on experience. Good judgment, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and appreciation of livestock, pets, animal care, and local agriculture are essential. Duties include: loading orders for customers professionally and accurately (orders include feed, hay, and other supplies and equipment), learning about products and assisting in meeting customers' needs, providing outstanding and courteous service to all customers, receiving and stocking inventory, driving a forklift, maintaining clean and orderly premises, yard, and store, and communicating clearly and professionally with all coworkers, management, and customers. Skills and Qualifications: high standards and commitment to excellence, particularly in customer service and attention to detail, effective and clear communication skills, team-based approach, ability to read and understand loading and receiving documents, prior experience and interest in animal feed, care, husbandry, pet food and supplies, and local agriculture, ability to learn quickly and retain product knowledge, ability to follow directions accurately, desire to physically work hard and ability to repeatedly lift bags of feed (often 50-75 lbs) and move bales of hay (100 lbs or more), strong, fit, and healthy, punctual, honest, reliable, and diligent.
