Cats and dogs nails can grow into their pads if they are not trimmed often. Especially with our geriatric pets who are less active therefor do not naturally grind down their nails. To prevent overgrown nails our vets recommend trimming your pet’s nails every month.

Please ensure all your pets are current on their rabies vaccines. There has been a confirmed case of rabies in Auburn.

A stray kitten tested positive for rabies in Auburn and another possibly exposed kitten may still be roaming the area, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.

Miso and Gyoza go everywhere with their Mom and Dad, even camping! 😃 Mom brought them to MMAH for their annual visit to make sure their vaccinations and heartworm/flea prevention are up to date to ensure these fur babies travels can continue uninterrupted. 🎒
