Mary has been missing for 4 days. Last seen around the Cary Creek area. She’s 5 year old, DSH, black and white, and fully vaccinated.

Do you have a soft spot in your heart for the older babies? We have a sweet girl, “Ginger,” that is looking for a family and a place to call home.

Ginger is 11 years old, incredibly sweet & docile, and great with kids. She’d prefer a home with children to love, but would enjoy being an only dog child.

Ginger has medication to take twice daily that maintain her controlled seizures. She prefers a nice cozy home to time at the vet.

She is spayed, current on all vaccinations and heartworm/flea & tick prevention, and a healthy girl with the exception of those controlled seizures. If you or someone you know would love to add some love to your home, please contact our hospital at 334-826-0360.

Meet our sweet friend “Hoss” pictured with Dr. Dixon. This handsome fellow is a hospice patient and his family thought he’d do best boarding at EUVH while they are away. He soaks up all the love and is such a good boy! His favorite is being told how handsome he is and receives so many hugs and kisses from our EUVH crew.
We’re so happy to have him as part of our family and thrilled to share that he continues to outlive the statistics of battling his type of cancer. ❤️

Honoring K9 Ginger 🐾

K9 Ginger dedicated three years to serving her community with the Auburn Police Department (APD). Her legacy lives on through her puppies at Auburn University's Canine Performance Sciences (CPS). After retiring from CPS, she continued her service as an explosive detection dog with APD.

As we mark the first anniversary of K9 Ginger's end of watch this July 2024, we remain forever grateful for her unwavering commitment and service.

Without fail, every year, we receive phone calls of pets that escaped during the fireworks celebrations. Please be proactive and make sure your pets have current information on their collars & microchips.

“Luna” came to visit for her puppy checkup and vaccinations. She won’t be able to be carried for much longer as she’s going to be a BIG GIRL! We’ll take our snuggles while we can!

Luna is an Anatolian Shepherd and she is going to grow rapidly. While we want all patients to have great experiences at the vet, it is especially important for these giant breeds to become used to visits so we are able to care for them throughout their life without too much stress.

Giant breeds can also have various health issues with “growing pains.” While we are keeping patients healthy through routine pediatric care, these visits also allow for us to track the growth of our patients and help if any concerns arise.

We’re thankful for her family’s trust and can’t wait to watch her grow!

Have you ever seen such cuteness?!? We were smitten by this lil guy “Trunks.”

We absolutely love our “typical” patients but we really enjoy seeing the “not-so-typical” patients too!

Trunks was seen for a dental issue and also received a pedicure while he was here. He was such a great boy and we’re glad we were able to help him out. 🦔

It is with so much pleasure that we announce the addition of Dr. Haley Dixon to our incredible team of veterinarians.
Dr. Dixon has been a part of the EUVH Family since 2018 when she joined our team as an assistant. We have watched her grow in knowledge and experience over the past 6 years and knew she was going to make a wonderful Veterinarian.

We are honored that she chose EUVH to start the next chapter of her career. Dr. Dixon is so excited to practice small animal medicine with special interests in exotics & pocket pets. Not only is she thrilled to treat them, she is also the proud owner of snakes & a bearded dragon.
Dr. Dixon will start seeing patients at EUVH on Tuesday, May 28th.

PLEASE HELP!

We are desperately searching for homes for these two babies. Their names are Pixel & Crash.

Pixel, the black and white lady, is a 8 year old spayed female and is up-to-date on all vaccines.
Crash, the butterscotch guy, is an 8 year old neutered male.

They’re very sweet and are needing to be rehomed. Unfortunately, time is of the essence. If you are willing to consider opening your home to these babies or would like some more information, please call our hospital @ 334-826-0360.

They have been patients of EUVH since they were kittens and have been very healthy kitties!

“Stray Martin” was found him in the middle of the road on Martin Luther King Drive. His stray hold will be up this Friday, May 10th. He is approximately 4 years old and intact. He is heartworm negative and was dewormed upon intake. He has since been vaccinated for Rabies, DHPPV and Bordetella. He has not shown any aggression, has done well in the kennel, and hasn’t had any accidents in the kennel. We haven’t tried him around other dogs or cats but from a distance he seemed like he wanted to play with other dogs.

We LOVE the “older” babies! Unfortunately, as they age, Canine Osteoarthritis (OA) pain can be a real PAIN!

We have a monthly injection called Librela that has proven to be so helpful for many of our patients dealing with OA pain. Kane comes by once monthly to visit our crew and receive his Librela to help him find relief as an older guy. Not only does he get relief, he also gets love from every single team member that lays eyes on him.

We LOVE him! 🥰
