But we also remember the first responders, the brave men and women who rushed in to help, risking their own safety. And we remember the search dogs who worked tirelessly alongside them, sniffing through the rubble to try and find survivors. These loyal dogs showed us how powerful the bond between humans and animals can be. Even in the darkest of times, they offered comfort and hope. As we honor the memory of all those affected by 9/11, we remember all those whose lives were taken far too soon - the innocent victims, the heroic first responders, and the devoted canines. 😷Recent reports from Alabama have highlighted a concerning rise in canine upper respiratory infections, primarily attributed to Canine Influenza. The virus has been detected in areas as close as Montgomery and the Auburn region.
💉To ensure the safety and well-being of your beloved pet, we strongly recommend consulting your veterinarian about the administration of the initial Canine Influenza vaccine, followed by a booster shot 3-4 weeks later. While the vaccine significantly enhances immune protection, it does not guarantee complete immunity, similar to the human flu vaccine.
‼️Effective August 2nd, 2024, we have implemented a policy requiring the Canine Influenza Vaccine for all dogs attending day camp, boarding, or grooming at our facility. This measure aims to further the safety and health of our furry visitors.
🐶Canine influenza can spread through direct contact or airborne transmission. If your dog exhibits any symptoms, such as coughing, runny nose, fever, or loss of appetite, please promptly contact your veterinarian. Any dog diagnosed with Canine Influenza must remain at home for a minimum of 2 weeks before returning to our facility.
🐾At Grove Bark Inn, we have not encountered any cases of Canine Influenza, and we are committed to maintaining a healthy environment for all our guests. We kindly request your cooperation in helping us uphold this standard.

When it came to Mr. Weasel, most of the pups were timid, except for our furry pal Milo B. who formed a special bond with him and carried him around everywhere! Witnessing their responses to these moving toys was a joyous activity. Sadly, Mr. Pig’s adventure was short-lived as he ended up taking a dip in the water 🐷🌊!
