it’s time to say goodbye. ❤️‍🩹

After almost 9 years in business, Pet Care By Lane will close our doors as of October 1st, 2024.

As i cry writing this, know that this has easily been the hardest decision i’ve had to make in my life thus far. This has been more than just a business; it has been my identity, my heart & soul, and truly everything i’ve ever dreamt of. Working with animals and experiencing their unconditional love first hand has been the most sacred gift i have ever received, and i will cherish the bonds that exist between me and my fur baby clients forever.

To all my loyal clients - thank you for always cheering me on, entrusting me to care for your animals, and providing me emotional support as i navigate through this difficult change. I view you as more than clients, but instead my dearest friends that i will hold close to my heart for the rest of my life.

As i venture into the unknown of what lies ahead and enter this new chapter, i plan to focus on renewing my health and furthering my education. While it has been such a dream to work with animals every single day, i need to tie a bow on this chapter in order to regain my health.

While this will be the hardest goodbye i’ve ever had to face, it is something that is much needed. I wish all of my clients and their wonderful fur babies the absolute best. I send every single one of you so much love and light. Please don’t be a stranger. I will never forget you, and i will always look back on the amazing memories that have been built over the last decade with my furry friends, so fondly.

Hi beautiful people! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!❤️

If i’m responding slow to emails/messages/inquiries, it is because i am trying to recover from a serious kidney infection. I will be taking time off and recovering for the next 1-2 weeks.

All vacation dates will be attended by Noel or Anthony, unless noted otherwise {as their schedules only allow for so much}.

A week with these two angels is a week well spent 🤍 I had a blast having a week-long sleepover with my two buddies, Hero & Diezel 🥰 These boys want nothing more than endless love and attention, and i was blessed to give it to them. I’m going to miss you both so much! 🐾💗

Screaming happy 3rd birthday to my gorgeous girl Riley!!!!🎉🎂🥳

Over the years of caring for Riley, she has become such a loving companion and such a loyal friend to me. No matter what life throws at me, seeing her every day is truly so grounding and being around her lifts my spirits. It has been a hard week for the PCBL family. Three of our amazing animals have crossed over the rainbow bridge, and we are heart broken.

Losing our pets is easily the hardest part of our job; we never feel like we get to say goodbye, and our time with them always feels as if it’s cut way too short.

To Charlie, Murray, and Luna: We love you all so much and we are so blessed to have cared for you over the years. You were all the kindest and most gentle souls, and the love we have for you is endless. We will miss you and love you forever.

Thank you to the Ruzzi, Claycomb, and Bravo family for allowing us to love your babies. We are eternally grateful for the time we spent with them. Rest in peace to our angels. ❤️‍🩹

Cutie Pie Alert ‼️🚨❤️ Let’s give the happiest welcome to the newest addition to the PCBL family - Miss Smudge!!

Sweet little Smudge is our miniature schnauzer puppy and she’s just too adorable for words. We have had the best time getting to know her and ofcourse snuggling her!! We love you Smudge! 🥰🤍🐾

We lost another beautiful soul this weekend. We are so sad to say that our sweet Nala has crossed over the rainbow bridge.❤️‍🩹🌈

Nala was such a kind, gentle soul. She loved her owners more than words can describe, and she was the epitome of a true companion. She will forever be one of the sweetest angels i’ve ever known.

Thank you so much to the Fonash Family for allowing me to love and care for her these last few years. I will miss her terribly, and i love her forever. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. 🤍

This is so incredibly hard. I don’t have words for this heart break. Our sweet Frank has crossed over the rainbow bridge this weekend, and we are shattered.

I work with so many animals, and they are all so lovely and beautifully unique in their own way. Franky was different in a way, he was so emotional and almost human-like; he brought a calming energy to those around him. He was exuberant in energy, and he wanted nothing more than to love and be loved by his favorite people.

His life on earth was way too short. It almost doesn’t feel real to know that he is not with us in physical presence anymore, but i know he will always be with us in spirit. I love you so much Frank; there will never be another pup like you. You left a mark on my life and my heart, and the world lost so much color when you left.

Thank you so much to the Slook family for allowing me to love and care for your sweet boy these last few years. His love was unconditional; being his caretaker has made me a better human at my core. I will spend forever missing and loving him deeply.

Rest in peace my Franky boy. I’m so blessed that i was able to say goodbye to you, and spend that special moment together. I’ll miss your hugs and kisses, our nature walks in the fall, and cuddle sessions more than you know. I love you forever.

What a treasure it is to be able to say goodbye to something so beautiful 🤍

Today i walked my special girls for the last time ever, as they are moving, and a space in my heart is now empty. Over the last 1.5 years, the Pompe girls have stolen my heart and have truly made my life better. While i will miss them terribly, i know that they will thrive in their new home 💛 I can’t wait to receive pictures of them blossoming in this new chapter of their lives!

Thank you so much to Mike & Kathy for allowing me to care for your crew. They will always hold such a special place in my heart, and they will forever be a part of the family. 🌞

We are absolutely devastated to announce that our beloved Izzy has crossed over the rainbow bridge. ❤️‍🩹

Izzy was our senior pug and we truly adore her. She is full of so much love and she has been nothing short of an amazing companion for her amazing owners. Thank you so much to Amy and Adam for allowing us to love her and care for her this last 1.5 years.
