Sawyer, a patient of medical oncologist Dr. Suzanne Rau, just graduated from his chemotherapy protocol! He was initially seen by our surgical oncologist Dr. Kendra Hearon, who performed his limb amputation confirming he had Osteosarcoma. From there he started his chemo treatment with Dr. Rau in October of 2024. He has been doing very well and is such a sweetheart! We are so happy to see him graduate ♥

Rambler, a patient of medical oncologist Dr. Suzanne Rau, just graduated from his chemotherapy protocol!! Rambler, who was diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor, started his treatment back in November. He's done very well through his treatment and we were so excited to see him at all his visits. Congratulations Rambler!! xoxo 😘

This is Ophelia, our adorable patient who had a mast cell tumor removed from her ear with surgeon Dr. Kendra Hearon in August. She just finished her vinblastine chemotherapy protocol with oncologist Dr. Suzanne Rau just before Christmas and we couldn’t be happier for her! Rex, a K9 with the Capitol Police Department, presented through Emergency over the weekend for being shot in the line of duty. The bullet entered through his chest, and traveled through the subcutaneous tissues, ultimately stopping in his thigh muscle. Thankfully due to the angle the bullet entered, he was discharged to his family and handler yesterday, and is doing very well. The Capitol Police brought a convoy for his discharge, honoring Rex and his work within their department. Which was a privilege to be able to witness. He developed a huge fan group at the hospital during his stay, as he is such a beautiful boy.
