Get Directions is a 6 year old, 16hh ottb mare located in Augusta, KS who has been to several local schooling shows and is ready to continue her show career. “Getty” is jumping 2’-2’6” and schooling training/first level dressage. We believe she will be best suited for a confident rider with soft hands- this girl is brave, bold, and absolutely loves to jump but is also a bit sensitive. Her ideal match would be someone wanting to be competitive in the jumpers or eventing, though she also has the movement to do well in straight dressage. No limitations, no vices, no maintenance! Currently in front shoes. Good ground manners and turns out in a group. Great for the farrier and vet. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.

A little gymnastic work with Getty today😍Getting back into her normal routine after taking the back burner for a little bit while I was getting the boys prepped for their spring shows.

The princess finally got out for her second show today! We competed in the starter CT and pulled off a 1st place finish. (Though I’m not sure we were competing against anyone as the other starter rider was a junior, but Getty doesn’t know that!) 38.6 in dressage and clean jumping. There was much more activity than she is used to at home, but she took it all in and only had a few baby moments, which were expected. It’s so great to be able to take the babies to these local shows in a low stress environment, and the TCT crew did a fantastic job keeping things running smoothly! Thank you to everyone that volunteered, Marie Maloney for judging, and Rod Knoffloch Jr. for all your help and spending the day with us!

2017 OTTB mare, 16hh

“Getty” has been off the track for almost a year, has been restarted and is schooling training level dressage, jumping 2’-2’6” courses, and has schooled xc.

Bold to the fences, forward, and catty, we see her being very competitive as a jumper or event horse. She is always hunting for the next jump! She is also a beautiful mover and could make a fancy dressage horse as well, but jumping is really where her heart is!

Getty would prefer a confident but quiet rider, so is not for a beginner at this time.
No vices, up to date on all care, wears front shoes. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.

Pretty Guilty “Finn”
2016 OTTB gelding, 16.3hh

Finn is the perfect horse for an amateur or teenager!

He has been off the track for over a year and is schooling training/1st dressage and jumping 2’6” courses with plenty of scope to go higher. Has his own motor but not hot or strong, flats and jumps in a rubber snaffle.

Finn has been to several dressage and CT schooling shows with good scores, and has schooled cross country. He’s the same easy going guy whether he’s at home or off property, and whether he’s ridden every day or had a week off.

Finn has impeccable manners both on the ground and under saddle and has the sweetest puppy dog personality. Definitely a barn favorite!

No vices or injuries, current coggins and up to date on all care. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.

A little bit of Getty’s ride yesterday. This mare is a super game little jumper and impresses me more with each ride. I definitely see eventing or jumpers in her future!
