Anika's Day out was a hot one! She is an old girl but she certainly loves to be ridden & having a job. We had to take breaks between every few rides so she could rest alittle & hydrate (us too 🥵) but she enjoyed being groomed, ridden, trying to steal our lunch & nibbling all the clover in the yard 😆

It has been so exciting to be able to watch our 1st years Goat Scholarship winner, Re*****on learn and grow along with his goat, Dumbo ❤ He has attended our goat clinics & has been working hard getting his goat ready for fair! We can't wait to see him shine in the show ring in a few weeks. Congratulations on making weight already!!

🔥 Reminder to all 4H & FFA families showing at the fair!

💉 Make sure you look at your meat withdrawl time on your dewormer and deworm your animals per those guidlines. Some dewormer especially for goats and lambs are 30 days!!

⏳This Friday is 30 days from the sale date! If you need help deworming reach put to me.

🖊Make sure you are writing those buyers letters & making plans to deliver them (in person) soon.

🐃🐖🐑🐐 We are having a showmanship clinic July 8th for all speicies. You bring your animal and get some tips for the show ring. We will be doing mock shows also to get you comfortable woth the show ring. PM me if you want to pre register!

⚖ There is an optional weigh in at the Fair grounds this Thurs 4p-6p. Take advantage of this opportunity even if you have a scale. All scales are alittle different and the weight may be slightly off from your home scale. (Esp. If your animal has not already made weight or might be too big)

I finally remembered to take pictures at today's goat & lamb clinic. Lol The kids got some hands on experience washing & drying a goat. We also talked about record books, buyers letters and we did a demo on hoof trimming & horn blunting for fair. Our next clinic will be May 27th at 2pm! We will be shearing a lamb & goat and talking about what to expect at fair & what to bring to fair.

Our 3rd Goat & Lamb clinic is tomorrow at 2pm. We will be getting hands on with washing, drying, hoof trimming, horn blunting & going over record book info. Hope to see everyone tomorrow rain or shine! (we have the tent set up just in case)
