Winnie, Honey, and Roo Day 2
We first heard about Winnie through a local animal networking page. She was a country community stray and had brought her babies to the home of a lovely couple. They made her a makeshift shelter under a standing crawl space, fed her and watered her, and did their best to keep her as cool and comfortable as they could. But as the days grew hotter here in Georgia they worried about her and her babies- and since they could not bring her inside they reached out for help caring for her and her babes. After speaking with a reference who assured they would be safe with us we drove the 40 minutes to pick them up and bring them home. While the couple were sad to see her go, they were happy she and her babies would be safe inside. They sent the rug she had in her makeshift home in hopes it would be a comfort, and they also sent a supply of dry and wet food. Winnie was not thrilled about the car ride home, however once we arrived home and she and her babies settled into their new little den and had a couple of Churus she thanked us with lots of purrs, biscuits, and a smile. Welcome to your new foster home, Winnie, Honey, and Roo. ❤️ We love you.
