A little public service info for all you doodle owners out there.

For basic brushing you will need a long bent tooth slicker brush and a metal long tooth comb.

When you first get your puppy, try and spend around 5 minutes each day with gentle brushing, the odd treat along the way will help. NOTE doodle pups do not necessarily need daily brushing this is to acclimatize them to it, because they will need it once they are adults.

If you find you do not have time to do all three, it is essential you do at least the red zone daily with an adult dog. Ideally all three zones.
