Nyx grooming nail trim
I have been working with Nyx on her grooming and being comfortable and ok with all grooming experiences. We had a long day training on this beautiful day and she did phenomenal. Completely relaxed enjoying laying in the sun while getting her nails done. I have watched this video so many times because it’s too funny with her tongue just hanging out 😆🤪

Shadow 4H Dog Club
Are you really a trainer if you aren’t the biggest distraction!! 😂💜 Hyping Shadow up and getting him to leave his kid and chase me around the room after class. Shadow is one of our senior dogs, him and his owner have worked hard and done amazing! He gets super excited and smiles when I give him attention (photo in the comments) I am so excited about how much the Dearborn County 4H Dog club has grown, I am blessed to be a part of it. I love helping these kids and their dogs learn and grow!! Remember outside of hard work and training both you and your dog have to have fun!! 🐾💜

She also didn’t win but the family that won cutest costume gave Layla and Fenrir the prize and trophy and told her they thought she was the cutest 🥰 thank you so much as you made her day!!

This was their first time on the agility course and did it with a crowd watching!! So proud of you guys and can’t wait to see how much you learn and improve throughout 4H. Her dog was also a s’mores costume but couldn’t wear for agility and won best creative costume 💜

Have you ever seen a cow and a pig run agility together?!? Well these two killed it in our performance and also won best couple (human and dog) costume contest!! 🥰
Here is a video compilation of Hoosiers last big walk with me! Prior to training she would panic and not want to move or try to panic run at every little noise! She still would get nervous or jump sometimes with loud noises as you can see in the video but she would quickly recover and she didn’t panic!! It truly makes me so happy to see dogs that are so scared improve their confidence!! 🥰 one of her biggest fears was the traffic noise especially when she is close to the road. So after our walk we stopped and got a pupcup at DQ and sat outside and she got to enjoy one of her favorite treats while working on conquering her fear of the traffic noise after her pupcup she laid down and took a nap while we finished our ice creams 💕

Helping them understand they are not going to melt but also YOU have to understand and realize you are not going to melt 🤣 this is far from perfect but it’s great desensitizing and engagement. Take advantage of moments like this ! Have fun with your dog while also training 🥰

Rachel working with Harper while at Home Depot. They have both done so well so far. I nit picked this video with her 😆 so something she could have done differently was just being a little more natural while she walked away. Sometimes body language is hard to correct even something that sounds as simple as walking naturally. In the next video I post you will see that she immediately changed and they both did fantastic 🥰
