It's finally time to reveal our news!! We're moving into a new, more updated space! The new space will allow for a more focused environment with less distractions for pets in the shop and is also going to allow us to add more services to offer our customers and a retail section as time moves forward. We will still be conveniently located in downtown Aurora, just a few blocks over on Judiciary Street. I'll be giving more details with address and dates in a few days. We are beyond excited for this new adventure and can't wait to bring you all along for the ride!

Everyone meet Loretta! This sweet lady came in for a spa day from a shelter to prepare for her foster home and start the next chapter in her story. She was incredibly sweet and someone seeing this needs to take this as a sign because I want to see her again and see her as a regular visitor so bad 🥹🥰 when she becomes available applications can be submitted through StrayHaven

Got puppies? We recommend getting puppies started early to help them build a bond and get acquainted with the grooming process! The best time to schedule a first visit is around 10-12 weeks after their initial puppy vaccines. Puppies this age typically don't need a full groom but coming in for a bath and light trim up helps them get comfortable with the process without being stressful and overwhelming. We are always looking for new ways to help accommodate the needs of our clients and are considering adding one Saturday a month to our schedule. We already offer afternoon scheduling options but we know that may still put strain on some. Let us know if this is something you'd take advantage of! Our process takes advantage of specially formulated products and tools to remove as much dead fur as possible to help your pet stay cooler and your floors stay cleaner.

This is what it’s about..seeing a dog go from difficult, scared, just stubborn, etc and then get to a place of being comfortable! The owner of Ares was amazing and was sure to let me know about his behavior issues ahead of time and that helped to work through his issues as quickly and stress free as possible. Every dog deserves a chance even if others have been unable to get through the process and I have absolute respect when someone realizes they aren’t comfortable with finishing a groom. I’m so proud of the progress we made with just a few hours of grooming 🖤 Videos were posted with owner permission as I never want anyone to feel as though we are shaming their dog for issues beyond the pets control. I also need to add that at the beginning of the video the sling is used for the safety of the dog so that he can’t throw himself off the table or or into the pole on our tables and hurt himself.
