Our Story

Formerly Cavy Care Inc., Guinea Pig Shelter, we are now Cavy Care Inc., Boarding, exclusively a B & B for Guinea pigs. Licensed by the state, we offer a boarding experience just for guinea pigs by the people who have rescued and placed over 12,000 guinea pigs since 1998.

Shannon Cauthen, is still providing educations on guinea pigs in addition to an in home caring setting for boarding guinea pigs. After 21 years of guinea pig experience you can be assured your guinea pig(s) will receive the best care possible, she may even give you some insight into your guinea pig that you may have never known.
