Loose leash walking used to be a challenge for Gaia, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she’s become a pro! 🌟🐕 Here’s how we helped her learn to walk calmly by our side:
✅ Responding to Collar Pressure: We taught Gaia to respond to collar pressure by slowing down.
✅ Frequent Rewards in Position: We celebrated every step she took in the right spot to show her what we wanted.
✅ Stopping When She Pulled: If Gaia pulled, we paused. This taught her that pulling gets her nowhere, but walking politely gets all the rewards!
✅ Frequent Changes of Direction: By keeping her on her toes (and her focus on us), Gaia learned to pay attention to where we were headed.
