Due to the recent nationwide rise of a respiratory illness in dogs, we recommend that all of our clients and other fellow dog owners cease public dog areas like parks, grooming salons, boarding facilities, play dates, or other forms of social behavior to limit the risks of your pet becoming sick with this quickly spreading illness.

Veterinarians say that symptoms can progress rapidly from coughing to pneumonia which can be fatal. Cases have been popping up around the country so do what you can to keep your dog safe right now and avoid contact with other dogs as much as possible until this illness is better understood by experts. It is still an unidentified condition that requires more research.

During this time, we will no longer be accepting requests for services that include social dog behavior such as walks in park areas with other animals, transportation services, and dog parks, effective immediately until further notice. Hopefully with everyone’s reduced activity and further research, we’ll see cases decline and can better understand and combat this sudden danger.

We had such a fun week with Bob (the cat) and Joey (the dog)! Joey loved his morning walks in the sunshine, smelling all the good smells. And Bob loved trying to convince us that he should be an outside cat and enjoy the walks too!

Happy 13th Birthday to my border collie lady Penny! What a big doggy accomplishment for an energetic girl who doesn’t look her age. She had the best doggy birthday party with her brother Finn, cat siblings who joined in on the fun, mom & dad, and got a delicious pup cup from Starbucks, a McDonald’s plain unsalted cheeseburger, and brand new tennis balls! Now that’s how you celebrate a doggy birthday!! 🎈🥳🐾

I have some wonderful news to share with you all! We’re moving to Central Park, Colorado! As much as we’d love to stay in Lakewood, we couldn’t pass up on the house we found in Central Park/North Aurora. So we will be coming up with a new service area to announce shortly.

But for all of our regulars, don’t fret because we still plan to keep established clients who might be outside of the new service area! There just may be a small mileage fee added in the price difference. Please don’t hesitate to send a message with any questions you may have.

We’re excited for this new chapter and looking forward to extending our services to many new clients in new areas! Happy summer, everyone!
