Are you looking for a house panther with the purrfect combination of mellowness & playfulness? Meet Marimba! This cuddly lady enjoys sunbathing and helping the neighborhood watch program. She takes breaks from her important schedule of leisure to have zoomies and then ask for some more attention.

Marimba knows she's adorable, especially when she's sharing head boops. Her special technique of unwinding and relaxing involves playing with her water bowl.

Sheba loves a lot of things, not least of all people and kids. She is very athletic and is always up for walkies, games, and any sort of play. Sheba is also usually ready for food & snacks, there are unverified reports of counter surfing, but she lawyered up and the mystery has been left unsolved. When she takes a break from being active, Sheba loves snuggles, belly rubs, and easy toys like a food puzzle.

Sheba would probably be best as an only dog in an active family. She will thrive in an environment that will give her strong boundaries and expectations. She enjoys pleasing her humans and can do well when she has goals. Sheba could probably do well as an agility dog and/or a therapy dog.

Sheba has had two instances of heartworm and was successfully treated. She will need to be on meds the rest of her life and we can talk with interested adopters more about this.

Hi, I'm Play Doh. My favorite things are quiet homes, other cats, cat trees, and cool hidey-type places to hang out. I like to take my time getting to know someone before we get all close & comfy. When I decide that we vibe together, I'll charm you and ask for belly rubs.

I am hoping to find a very human friend who will let me take my time to be comfortable and let me set the pace. I very much love hanging out with other cats & having a buddy helps me to be braver and social. In feline circles, I'm known as a cat's cat.

Sugar is a friendly and slightly cautious kitten. He came from a feral colony in Denver and has decided being indoors with free food & soft beds is the way to go. He is continually learning to trust people more and even enjoys having his hips and back rubbed and has been known to forget that he's shy and starts to purr.

Sugar is learning that ball toys are da bomb and also enjoys exploring with other cat friends finding the best ways to play with new toys.

He likes being the first in line when it's wet food time and will carefully check out the buffet. Sugar could also head up a neighborhood watch program as long as his cat tree is near a window. He's content on the tree and loves to watch all the activity.

If you're looking for an adventure companion, meet Leo! He is full of puppy energy and enjoys playing with people and other dogs. His first choice is to share the moment with a playmate. He's also happy entertaining himself for extended periods of time, especially if a squeaky toy is involved. Leo is kennel trained for sleeping and when the humans are not home.

About the only thing Leo is not fond of would be missing out on any fun. He's always willing to join in at playtime and help with the fun.

Leo has discovered that getting a belly rub while he's being cuddled like a baby is a fabulous way to pass the time. This position allows for his entire belly to be rubbed and he wants to make sure his adopters know about this technique.

Charlie shows that he is just as orange on the inside by being a sweet, mushy, snuggle buddy with his human. He's in heaven when he gets to snuggle up on the couch or bed with his purrson. Charlie loves to help his people play with feather toys and is willing to show his favorite techniques. His favorite treat is Churu and he will clear his schedule when it's treat time.

Charlie would need a very slow introduction to another cat so they could live peacefully. However, his preference would be to live as an only cat. He thrives with humans and does very well meeting new people. He also hopes to have a nice window in his new home, so he can sunbathe.

Anyone interested in Black Cat Fridays? As long as we have available black cats for adoption, one will be featured on Friday.

October had a very tough start in life and is looking for a Mulligan. This small house panther was beat up and bitten before she was rescued and brought inside. Moving past her very rough start in life, October learned that she much prefers appreciates soft, fluffy blankets, quiet spaces, window seats, and being in a safe place with her BFF, Minnie.

October is super shy & mellow. She will need a patient purrson who will let her set the pace and give her time to trust them. Once she is comfortable with someone, October loves to get her face scratched. She tends to get nervous when her neck and back where she was bitten get pet. October would do best if she were adopted with Minnie or another kitten, so she can have a friend to help build her confidence.

Hi, I'm Magpie. I enjoy being petted and am learning about things like playing with toys and how to trust people. I did learn about this super fun toy called "a tunnel." I give this toy an enthusiastic recommendation. Once I relax (petting helps a lot), I'll show off my purring skills.

I keep making progress with my foster family. Foster Mom has been showing me why it's nice to be held & I'll admit, it's kind of nice. I've been introduced to another foster cat and we are getting along. I keep learning more & more to trust the humans and being around other polite animals. I met a mellow dog & thought that went well. I'm not a fan of crazy animals and do enjoy a quieter home without loud scary noises.
