Health testing on breeding dogs is super important to ensure that the dogs being bred are good quality dogs.

We just left the cardiologist with these three and they all passed with flying colors! 💜

They are young, so I'm not surprised. This is something that I not only check at home regularly, but annual cardiovascular check ups with a boarded cardiologist is extremely important, especially for Cavaliers, who are the poster child for heart disease.

I am also now starting to do Embark testing on my dogs and will have further information on the genetics and health of the dogs I have that will hopefully produce healthy puppies later on in life.

Little Ben is getting neutered today. I am unsure with his condition how he will be under anesthesia and with being intubated. I have advised the vet about his condition and they are going to do him last in line so he can have a little extra monitoring. I am optimistic that he will be fine.

I pre treated him with an antiemetic to ensure he won't vomit, which could cause aspiration pneumonia.

He is also cryptorchid so they will have to go searching for his other testicle. He will be in a cone for 10-14 days. I'm sure he'll love that!😅

Maes was the bestest boy today and got Best of Opposite! He's earned three points this weekend! I had a great time and it was so fun to see everyone.

I won't be showing at the Arapahoe show, but I will be there to cheer everyone on!

Maes has done very well this weekend and got select dog two days in a row! Tomorrow is the last show of this weekend and potentially the season.
