Here is Makita snoozing cuz I'm laid up w/sore leg.
She is 3 yrs old not spayed yet. She was a very dark red now some blonde, carmel, red . I love her w/all my heary. Easy to train except when deer are around !! She's a great mouse hunter, great squirrel catcher !!🤗
She loves all the seasons here in Northern Minnesota !!😁😁 Makita loves to play the n leaves & loves the snow !! She likes to hike w/us, Me (Roberta & hubby Tom) she loves frisbee, ball time, getting into my flower beds & garden !! So taught her to dig holes in garden & I plant then.
She loves friends kids & adults as well !😎
She's my best if iend, companion !!!🐕🐾🐕🐾❤🌹

Good Morning🤗🤗🤗
IAM going to give you a update on my lower leg.
So far primary Nurse Practioner did x--rays & Ultrasound.
All came back normal. She thought it was Cellulitis or a blood Clot, its neither one.
So now seeing Dr Hendricks on Monday April 15 th. Hoping to get some answers soon. I will put a update when I find something out till then keep leg elevated & a mud pack on it.
I hope to see everybody & dogs & puppies as soon as I get back to work !! 🐕🐕🐾🐾❤❤

Hi everybody just wanted to let my friends know that my Uncle John passed away on March 21st, Thursday.
He had made the choice to stop his dialysis & other stuff.
He was a very good uncle to me, my sister, my brother.
He lived in California. I won't be able to make his funeral which will be on the 29th of March.
I'm very positive he will understand us not being there. It will be very hard not seeing him in the Summers
when he always made trips to come visit us & other friends.
I have lots of beautiful & special memories of us all together. He now joined his two brother & one sister & my mom, brother & my brothers son.
Rest in peace Uncle John.

Hi everybody !!! Remember Spring will be here soon so you want to take your fur babies to the vet for Spring Check-Ups & get physicals done & flea & tick products for them.
Remember a flea can lay up to 40 eggs on your pet or a in your carpet or if your dogs have fleas. To get rid of fleas you have to get flea products for carpet & furniture. Best bet is to bomb your house, it kills all fleas & bugs. If your dog has fleas buy flea shampoo & bath it then put a flea collar on a few days later. Don't forget to vacuum your carpet & wipe down all counters & stuff from your bomb.
Remember ticks are all ready out hiding in leaves or brush, this yr cuz of mild winter.
So get new flea & tick collars on your pets.

Good Afternoon !!!
As you all know I have Osteoporosis Arthritis & on top of that I have Bursitis !
I have a appt for Feb 12 th.
Trying to get in earlier but don't know if it will happen.
I'm feeling bad about being out of work but I can't support the weight of a dog right now.
As soon as I see Dr Hendricks & says he can do a shot or pain pills for me I will be a happy camper !!!
There is also the possibility of another shoulder replacement. Was told by Hendricks it would need to be done some day.
I'm hoping its just the bursitis causing this. Been doing the best I can for resting it, also heating pad, ice, icy hot roll on, warm showers,
& lots of Tylenol & Cbd.
So that's all about I can give for a update.

Good Morning !!
I have some news for my customers .
I spent Sunday Morning in Urgent Care.
My left shoulder was really hurting me.
Well after 1 shot of toradal & prednisone to take. I have Osteo arthritis in my shoulder plus a bad case of bursitis. So off of work once again.
If not better go with n for steroid shot.
Will keep everybody in touch.

To all my customers :
I want you all to know how much I appricate your business & putting your puppies & dogs in my hands to groom & take care of them . I love them all as if they were my own !!!
Iam sorry to say my New Year 2024 hasn't started out as I would of liked
It to.
Many of you know I picked up some kind of a serious virus (no covid, rsv, influenza).
Dr put me on a cough suppressant well it worked & didn't work still feel crappy, I have a very bad cough from the virus. So now she put me on Predisone to see if it will nip it in the bud.
If this doesn't nip it then have to go in for a pneumonia test.
I know you all want your puppies/dogs done & I want to get back to WORK !
But Dr say I have to rest & no work or I will just get more run down. So I'm following Dr orders & resting & drinking plenty of fluids.
I'm hoping & praying the Predisone dose the job, but till then please hang in there !!
I'm doing my best to get better !!
I hope all of you are having a Good Start to the NEW YEAR 2024 !🎉🎉

Good afternoon customers !! I went to the Dr for my wrist. I saw Dr Hendricks. He said its a acute injury & plus my osteo arthritis flared up to.
Hendricks wants it to heal naturally, so no shot.
I'm going to go back to work the next week. If I still have swelling then I can go in on the 18 th & get a cortisone shot in my wrist. For now no work just rest & ice wrist.
So please just be patience & I will try to get your dogs done for Christmas.

Good Evening Everybody !!!!
I want you all to know I'm still here grooming away.
Please when you call me on the phone , please
leave a message, it is not that hard to do .
Yes, I've had a few health problems now but I'm working on getting them better.
I want you all to know I'm making some product changes to. I'm changing my shampoo to a better one, one that had less harsh stuff in it & better for the dogs.
I might have to up the prices of your dogs by a few bucks.
I've also been going through some difficult stuff w/my 14 yr old Lab/Springer. Some very difficult choices
have to be made in the next coming weeks.
As always I will be strong & do the right thing for my beautiful strong girl Kai.

Iam going to go to Roseau to see my sister & her hubby Keith. Go for rides in there new side by side & just have some fun.

To the Dog Groomer who ever did Nova the Border Collie, dont you know how to follow directions ?!!
You just dont take it upon yourself to shave a dog when they asked for a puppy cut.
Then you didnt even trim her ears or fix her tail, & you call yourself a groomer ? You didnt even clip the nails. You didnt do nails on other 2 dogs either & you charged her for that ?
Shouldnt matter if your other groomer quit or moved away or how many dogs you had to do.
You were the groomer you should of did your job & you didnt, shame on you !!!
Instead another groomer had to fix your mistakes.
If you cant do your job maybe you should think of retiring.

Kai is pi**ed off cuz saw Vet Jack @ Vermillion Pet Clinic outside of cook.
She got odie pacs in both ears & is on a p*e pill & a heart pill . Jack couldnt hear her heart beat. She has fluid around her heart. She was dry heaving & coughing. She takes her pills in the am & pm.
Mom is spoiling her cuz she has to eat first & then take pills. So she gets wet mixed w/her dry. Plus i put her pills in a pill pocket for her. She is 13 yrs old which is 91 yrs in human age.
Shes also mad cuz her ears are tapped up so air can get around them. She has chronic ear infections.
Only thing that really helps her is odie pacs, plus the taped up ears.
She is my senior baby.
She taught Makita everything she knows. Kai & Makita formed a very tight bond w/each other & they
Sleep, eat, next to each other. They play outside together to.
Me & Kai made a pat, were hoping when she goes she goes in her sleep
& no suffering.
She will be burried under the Maple tree where her friend kitty Jezzzabell was burried.
Kai's favorite spots to lay are under our 5 Maple trees in our yard..
So for now she is w/her buddy Makita & doing what ever they want to do together.
