Honey and Cinnamon are the cutest bonded pair. They are approximately 1.5-2 years old. Wherever Honey goes cinnamon is going to follow. They were very very loved and unfortunately due to medical reasons they were given to Fur Angels. These girls have come a very long way as they were very bonded to their Human. They are still a little on the timid and startled side but with time and bonding they will warm right up. They LOVE to talk and love playing in their hay. They don't sit to be picked up but once in your arms and they know they're safe they will cuddle right up. Cinnamon does have a jumpy tendency so she does need a gentle firm holding. Colby, Parm, and Brie are three sibling female mice approximately 1 year old each. They're very sweet and love their toys and blanket to snuggle under.

This handsome boy is Pablo. He is thought to be a year old and is a friendly little guy. He would be a perfect addition to any family. He is a curious little man and is very easy to handle.

Ducky and Daffy are an adorable pair of parakeets. Ducky has a deformed beak which needs to be trimmed every 4-6 weeks. This can be done at a vet, or you can do it yourself if you are experienced and comfortable with it. Daffy was missing most of her beak when she came to us and it is slowly growing in nicely. They are otherwise healthy, active, lovely little keets. Adoption fee for the pair is $40. Please complete an application for adoption at FurAngelsAS.org

Wolfgang (dob 5/21/24) is a happy kitty who loves to investigate. He is always the first one to run to the window as foster momma leaves for work. He is smart and playful, loves to chase strings and do zoomies with his siblings. Wolfgang is ready to join a family. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date with vaccines.

Cole is a 6 yr old dark Ebony neutered male Chinchilla born in July of 2018 who sadly finds himself alone after losing his cage mate to severe dental disease. But he seems to be coping well with the changes and is now looking for a forever home of his very own. He can be a bit shy until he gets to know you, but he still has plenty of bouncy energy! He is super sweet once he learns to trust you, likes head pets and the occasional chin shrub. He will come up to his foster mom at treat time and take it right from her hands. He is currently housed in a double Critter Nation cage and he loves to run and hop between all the levels when he gets the zoomies, so he will need a similar large enclosure like a Midwest Critter Nation/Ferret Nation Double Story cage or something similar in dimensions (24” deep x 36” wide x 63” high) and proof of an adequately sized cage will be necessary for adoption approval. He also loves to run on a 15” Chin Spin wheel, chew up applewood and willow sticks, roll in the dust bath several times each week and climb all over you in the fenced-in play area. He does love to jump and can clear a 3 ft play yard fence, so we thwart his efforts by draping fleece blankets across the top edges of the play area and that has worked to keep him in bounds so far. This is a bonded pair! Meet Stormy and Lilith. Stormy, the brown tabby, is a 2 years old female cat that came into the rescue from a rough situation. She’s skittish at first and will need a quite home with very quiet dogs or none at all. She gets scared with other cats as well but she has bonded deeply with Lilith and needs to be adopted with her. Her foster home continues to work with her to help her become more comfortable with other animals. She will make a great companion for someone who has a quiet life, likes to it and watch tv or read because she enjoys sitting on your lap. Once she is comfortable with you, she will come and greet you and give you head bumps. A home with windows is a must for her because she loves sitting by the window and people watch. She can do this for hours. Home without kids or mature kids that understand she doesn’t like to be overwhelmed and she needs her space.
Lilith, the white cat, is super active and busy all the time. She wants to be involved in everyone’s business and will investigate everything! She loves to play with toys and her laser pointer, but her very best thing to do is wrestle with her foster sibling, Stormy. She really helps Stormy come out of her shell.

Geralt is a male Syrian hamster apx 1 yr old. He is very sweet and gentle. He starts off shy but with a little bit of patience he is easy to handle Geralt loves exploring in a safe supervised area and rolling in his ball. His adoption fee is $20. "Penelope (aka Princess Penny) is an approximately 4 yr old standard gray female chinchilla looking for a forever home that has previous chinchilla experience. She is very sweet and enjoys head pets and chin scritches once she learns to trust you. Until then she can be a bit guarded and moody. As some chins do, she will sometimes display a bit of sassy attitude but she is also very treat motivated, so that can be the gateway to her heart, lol. She has developed a bad habit of fur biting in the last year- as you can see on her back in some of her photos. Her previous owner’s vet cleared her of any possible related health issues and felt it was Penny’s response to stress. She will absolutely need a large enclosure like a Midwest DOUBLE Critter Nation/Ferret Nation cage or something similar in dimensions (24”D x 36”W x 63”H) because smaller cages really do stress her out! So proof of an adequately sized cage will be necessary for adoption approval. She loves to run on her 15” Chin Spin wheel and it’s made a huge difference in her being more relaxed in her foster home, but she didn’t seem to know what to do with an Exotic Nutrition 14” Treadmill Wheel at all and just ignored it for weeks, lol. She adores chewing up applewood sticks, rolling in her dust bath 3 times each week and climbing all over you in a fenced-in play area several times a week. Meet Noble– a charming male rat looking for his forever family! This furry friend has a unique personality that will surely steal your heart.

Noble came into the rescue with his brother and father. The other two recently died in October 2024, leaving Noble all alone.

He has had a few brief introductions with some younger smaller boys, and has gotten puffy and squabbled, but did not bite. He may be more open to a non-dominant rat who is closer to his size and age.

Noble is shy but enjoys being petted and will come to greet you and take a treat gently. when you talk to him and offer a treat.

Noble was born 6/16/23. Noble will protest being picked up but is fine once he is on your shoulder. He's made great improvements and would likely continue to improve.

Proof of a proper enclosure is required. A proper enclosure has good ventilation (no glass aquariums), solid floors and shelves (no wire to injure feet), is secure with bar spacing small enough to prevent escape or heads getting caught. It should be large enough to allow space for enrichment activities like climbing, exploring, hiding, balancing, and digging/burrowing. Four cubic feet of space per rat is preferred. Multiple water sources is also recommended.

Ashley is a young female guinea pig born in the rescue on January 23, 2024. Although she likes other piggies, and enjoys visiting her neighbors through the cage bars, she is shy and nervous, and other piggies seem to sense that. Ashley is looking for a home with another piggy friend and an experienced guinea pig parent who will give her lots of loving and patience to bond with a new friend. She enjoys playing and running around her cage, and comes to the side of the cage for treats and will take them from her foster mom's hand. Thank you everyone who came out to support our annual Lucky Paws Bowling Fundraiser this year! We hope you had a “striking” great time 😊 It was a smashing success and we raised a lot of money for all the animals in our foster care program (vetting, food, supplies) along with helping us continue to give pets a second chance at finding loving forever homes!!
