✨ Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Special ✨

At Aurora Animal Care and Control, we’re launching our Home for the Holidays adoption special because we believe every animal deserves a warm, loving home this season. This year has been hard—over 800 dogs and 700 cats have come through our doors, many with severe illnesses and injuries. Despite these challenges, the unwavering support from our community has kept us going.

Now, as the holidays approach, we’re reaching out with a heartfelt hope to end the year on a high note by finding homes for all our animals. To make it easier, adoption fees are reduced to just $100 for dogs and $50 for cats.

If adoption isn’t possible for you right now, you can still help.
💙 Spread the word about our amazing animals, share our posts. Word of mouth can make a huge difference!
💙 Sponsored adoption certificates are available for purchase. These certificates can be gifted to someone who’s ready to welcome a new friend. When the time comes, they can bring that certificate to the shelter within one year of purchase date to be used towards their adoption fee.
💙 Donations to help with the care of our animals are always accepted. We accept in-kind and monetary donations. Individuals can also sponsor an animals adoption fee, helping to break down the barriers between them and their furever homes.

Please don't leave your dog in a hot car. All it takes is 6 min. 😢

This should be common sense but it isn't.

❌DO NOT❌ leave your pet or child in a vehicle!

It will get hotter than hell in there and the dog/kid can't do anything about it!
