We really like to get to know our boarding pets individually so we can cater to them specifically instead of having every dog doing the same thing❤️

For example Handsome Fitzgerald LOVES to play fetch with us or other dogs so thats what we do!! That way he gets the best experience and lots of fun while he stays with us!

These guys are all dogs that have been over looked due to age, look, activity level, shy behavior, you name it… none are bad dogs, in fact all of these guys have become really special to us over the months and though we love them like our own, we are really sad to see them each and every day… they should be growing up or living out their good years in a home on a comfy couch with their person. Please share so we can finally wish these guys a great life and a bittersweet goodbye!!!

the “L” pups could not have had more fun at puppy yoga today ❤️🥹 They are getting more and more social/brave with each outing, they are all so sweet and smart. All 6 remaining are food motivated, love good snuggles and are extra soft and lovey right now! We are once again desperately low on blankets🤦‍♀️😓 It has been a hell of a month with things piling up over and over again and honestly we are exhausted. 😔 On the bright side we have gotten 6 of our longer term residents adopted! Our goal is 20 by August 6th so please if you are interested in one of the dogs we have for $20 send in your application right now!! Back to the blankets… our washing machine is once again on the fritz, we had to toss over 3/4 of our bedding supply and are down to pillow cases and sheets. While we are lucky enough to have our raised cot beds for every dog in our facility we still really need and really love to give the pups some cozy blankets in their kennel to make it feel a little more homey, they only get so many pleasures until they are adopted and that is one that we feel lucky to normally be able to give…. I added a ton of blankets on our amazon wishlist (genuinely I kinda went crazy) as well as mop heads and some adopt me gear, if anyone feels like sending us some new blankets to stock our cabinets we would be so grateful, or if you have any throw blankets or small comforters we could really, really use them right now. Thank you all for your continued support, we are so eternally grateful and use you guys as inspiration to keep going despite the hard days.

Sandy was found in November of 2023 tied to a tree in houston with mange on the entire front portion of her body. She was estimated to be 6 months old at that time and it was clear she was not treated properly whatsoever during that time of her life. I do notice sometimes she doesn’t totally understand dogs social cues and can take a correction as an instigation to play but she absolutely adores romping around with her friends, playing with the hose and the baby pool. She thrives on structure and behaves her very best when she has a good routine of relaxing time, mental enrichment, exercise/play time. She loves her meals in puzzles and loves to lay down with her person with a frozen filled toy. She is the queen of cuddling and would love to sleep right on top of you or right next to you. She does super well in her crate 90% of the time and is also potty trained 98% of the time (we still get one or 2 p*e accidents). She loves toys but is a tough chewer so tougher toys do best for her, she LOVES those hard foam diving rings, she can be high energy but with proper routine and structure she does amazing! She is fully vetted and ready to find her amazing forever home with a tolerant dog sibling and her very own baby pool. Please share sweet Sandy and apply online at lolasrescue.com

Jewel is still waiting for her forever home!! This girl was found with her mama and 3 other siblings on an oilfield in a drain in New Mexico. They have come along way from then and her 2 brothers were quickly adopted while her sister and her have been patiently waiting. Her sister, V has a meeting tomorrow (wish her luck) but poor Jewel has had very little interest! She is 16 weeks on Monday and is fully up to date on her vaccines. She is spayed and microchipped as well. She can be shy on leash and in public but is a total love at home, she loves playing in her baby pool, loves meal time and enrichment toys and absolutely loves running around with her dog friends once she knows them well!! She is working hard on potty training and crate training. She is already 30lbs and will definitely be a big dog!

These 3 are STILL waiting for their forever homes!!! They are 7 months old and are the last of their litter and mama to be in rescue! They were found abandoned just as little babies and have been with Lolas for 5 months now. They are absolutely perfect, at least in my opinion, they love to play, do great on leash and have tested so well I would even venture to say they may be cat friendly (I haven’t tested so I can’t confirm, just suspicion). They have never met a person they didn’t like and are our allstar crew at puppy yoga! They are all UTD on vaccines, Spayed/neutered and microchipped! Fable✨❤️

This girl is such a fun pup to have around, she is so good in her kennel and loves to use her doggy door to go outside. We are guessing around 6 months old and a shiba/husky mix maybe? She loves all the dogs she has met so far and although her energy out lasts most dogs she is great at playing at their pace and then entertaining herself when everyone else has gotten tired. She is a very intelligent and well mannered girl with a hint of spice. She is fully vetted and currently has $100 off of her adoption fee!! Apply on lolasrescue.com

Lenny had so much fun at Saturday’s event. He met a lot of new dogs and people!🐾
I can’t believe this sweet boy is still available! Lenny is 4 or 5 months old and the bestest boy ever. He is kennel and potty trained and is working really hard at perfecting his sit. He loves to play with his toys and snuggling up to watch tv. He is very smart and enjoys to use his brain when there are no distractions. He loves other dogs and is very respectful of cats boundaries. 🐈 He would do great in an active household with other dogs! ♥️
