LOLA's specializes in rescuing, rehabilitating & rehoming dogs and cats with responsible, deserving a

L.O.L.A's Rescue is a 501(c)3 animal rescue organization based in Littleton and Aurora, Colorado. We save as many at-risk animals as possible from uncertain futures. We are always looking for fosters and volunteers, and we take great care of where our dogs go. We are excited to announce the opening of our new Adoption Center in Aurora! Adoption fees:

Puppies under 10 months old - Starting at $475

10 months to 5 years old - Starting at $310

Seniors (5+) - $205

*some variations may apply at rescue discretion

An awesome foster busted Doe out of the rescue center. This boy is a little over 6 months old and has been at the rescue center since February. And he quickly learned how wonderful it is to be in a home. He is an absolute cuddle bug. Doe has been great with the kids he has met and is working on potty training. His two sisters, Denver and Dooley, are still at the rescue center right now looking for fosters/adopters.

Bring a picnic, blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy an outdoor family movie night. Pre-movie activities start at 5:30 p.m. and the movie rolls around 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $5 ($7 at the door), and kids 2 and under get in free! Event will be held outdoors under the covered Civitas Arena.

💛Meet Sandy💚
Sandy came to Colorado a few weeks ago from Carlsbad, NM. While there, she aced her cat test, did well in playgroups, and the staff absolutely loved her. Now she is here in search of her forever home!
She has also done well so far with other pups here and was in a foster with cats for a short time when she first arrived! She is just under 3 years old but is still very playful and active, her energy level isn’t really high but still a little higher than the average. We believe she is a Heeler X Shepherd mix.
She can be a little jumpy (we are working on it) but recently met a young kiddo and didn’t jump on him but did want to interact and kiss a lot. If Sandy sounds like the girl for you, apply to adopt or foster Sandy on lolasrescue.com

💛Meet Jewel💚
Little miss Jewel stole our hearts from the start with her spunky, can do attitude. We affectionately call her Ju-lee (if I have any LOK fans you will understand😉). She is a typical puppy of course, definitely the most affectionate of the bunch and always down for a kiss and belly rub. She sleeps hard and plays hard, she is the most respectful to our much larger, older dogs and has a clear understanding of boundaries and social cues, she is learning to swim, just beginning potty training and does enjoy a good mud pit (see second picture) to dig around in.
She would love a family that will let her continue exploring and taking in the world around her, including but not limited to more swim days, hiking, new siblings, lots of naps/movie nights, infinite belly rubs and all the treats she can get her hands on; I know its a lot to ask but after being found in an oil field drain pipe at 1 month old, who am I tell her no.
Jewel is almost 9 weeks old is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and will be spayed this week before going to a forever home.

💛Sandy🩷
Oh my gosh this girl is the absolute best pup. She is so happy and wiggly constantly and ALWAYS wants to cuddle and be in a lap. She is crate trained and sleeps there at night most the time, she will bark at first but she calms down, she has started barking at other dogs when she sees them from her crate so we are working on that. She does have some p*e accidents throughout the day without warning but we are working hard on it and she gets better everyday. She doesn't totally understand personal space but tries to be respectful. She does use her mouth a lot like you would expect in a puppy but she is a little too big to continue that so we are working hard to switch that to a different play style, she means no harm she just doesn't understand what the problem is haha. She does extremely well with her young foster siblings but has created some "beef" with the senior resident due to the senior constantly correcting her, she may do best as an only pet or with a sibling that is also higher energy and very tolerant. She loves little toys and playing tug, she does a lot of puzzles and mental excersizes for her meals in order to keep her well behaved and not have a lot of cooped up energy! She is truly the sweetest baby and has a few quirks due to her upbringing but she is truly so trainable, she is smart and so dedicated to her person!! She would absolutely adore a home that has the patience and commitment into making her the incredible pup she could be

This is Gizmo, he is looking for his forever home. He is an amazing little guy. He is around 3 years old. He loves meeting other dogs and he does great with the kitties. He loves to snuggle up and watch T.V. accompanied by some good belly rubs and ear scratches. He loves walks around the neighborhood, golf cart rides and car rides. He would make an amazing adventure partner. He likes to alert his family when intruders are coming. He starting to play with toys but seems he has not had much experience.

He is neutered now and has all of his vaccinations updated and he has a microchip. He is currently working on potty training and doing a great job. He wears a belly band diaper when he's inside and he is kenneled when his foster family is at work. He doing fabulous with consistency and repetition. He thrives on routine. Meet Winston! He is a 10 month old Bulldog with what we thought was spina bifida. However, xrays revealed this poor guy doesn't have any hips. This has resulted in no control of his bowel movements therefore he will be an adorable diaper baby. He will need an adopter that is dedicated to continuing his life with diapers and possibly a wheelchair down the road should he start experiencing issues with his back legs.
