I hand threw marks for straight lines, cheating and digging out marks in weeds

Samson did better that the old man on the blinds 1 cast out of 3 blinds
But he blew of a whistle sit on the middle blind
Samson blew past the short mark(2 nd bird) to the right and needed handled
Then he stepped on the long memory bird in the middle

Today Samson worked on confidence 
A simple water triple with 2 inline marks on the right with a white bucket behind them
The memory bird being a white bumper
On the left an inline mark and white bucket
The white fence post and white buckets were to give cast on the water and land to a defined target

Chance did the long bird then short bird and blind to right of winger
Then the short bird then the long bird as the go bird- nailed it
Then the other blind- lined both blinds- 3 diversion ducks
Samson did long bird then short bird
He found the long bird on his own but it wasn’t pretty
2 cast the blind
Repeated the same order , he nailed the double
Then he lined the 122 blind- 3 diversion ducks

We did a double mark with ducks,3 blinds all 100 yards plus-with orange bumpers
The line to the left mark was thru the tall weeds and landed in cut grass- in a low spot
Chance got 3 diversion ducks as he lined a blind and 1 cast on the other 2
Samson lined the first blind - diversion bird
He feel apart on the second blind-a plastic bag was inserting to him
4 cast on the 3 rd blind - he blew off a cast

From left to right Mark 1 right to left 105 yards Mark 2 right to left - the line goes thru the decoys 80 yards Mark 3 - 135 yards straight in - thru the 2 hay bales 2 blinds one to each of the hay bales at the end of the video -140 yards Left blind is on the left of the hay bale Right blind is to the right of the hay bale

Chance did a triple mark today With a down the shore in line mark and blind( 1 goose decoy was in the pocket of the cove) The blind was 1’ of the right end of the dock 15 yards on the bank- Chance lined the blind Another blind was 10 yards to the left of the dock at the tree line-1 cast Samson did the 2 short birds as a double Then the long bird as a single Then a simple blind

Tonight Chance did a double double His blinds were on either side and behind the left winger Samson did 2 singles and the 2 easier blinds on the right and left

We did a simple double today Chance did 2 blinds Samson did a 85 yard blind - 3 cast Everything to include honor was done with out collars

My Chance

Since before my first retriever, I’ve wanted a top shelf Chesapeake Bay Retriever for breeding and competition. My initial attempt unfortunately thwarted, I decided to take another gamble and try again. That’s when I found the perfect pup in a litter from Wendy Shepard Chisholm V.M.D. Inspired by Lee Ann Womack’s song “I Hope You Dance”, Chance is aptly named and has truly been the one worth taking. He’s the ideal dog: intelligent, eager to learn and he LOVES to retrieve and train. I’m very please with how this attempt is turning out. Moreover, I’m glad I decided to try again and take a chance on Chance.
