Friendly reminder!

We are now taking a 50% deposit on all surgeries and dentals at the time of scheduling.

We have had an increase in the number of no-show appointments. Since we are booking on average over a month in advance for surgeries, we would like to reduce the number of no-shows to try to get everyone scheduled in a timely manner.

We schedule surgeries Monday-Friday. Surgeries are to be dropped off between 7:30-8:00am and can be picked up that afternoon.

When scheduling your pets surgery appointment, the deposit can be paid over the phone by card or in person by card/cash/check. Please call us at 417-678-3112 or stop by to schedule!

Get prepared for spring weather by heartworm testing your dog!

Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes, and while easily prevented with monthly heartworm prevention, they can cause severe damage to your dogs’ cardiovascular system if your dog is infected.

Our 4DX heartworm tests can detect heartworms, in addition to several tick-borne illnesses such as ehrlichia, lyme, and anaplasmosis.

Heartworm testing is a quick procedure, and a negative test is required before we start your dog on monthly heartworm prevention.

Due to the number of missed surgery appointments, we are unfortunately going to start implementing a fee of $30 for any appointment not cancelled within 24 hours. We understand there are emergencies that happen, and we can work with your circumstances if the need arises. We are currently scheduling routine surgeries for the middle of October. We appreciate all of our clients continued support and understanding.

Good morning! Friendly reminder the walk-in clinic we offer from 12-2 is for healthy pets. Below is a list of what we see and do not see during that time. Please don’t hesitate to call with any questions. We understand there can be scheduling conflicts and we do our best to accommodate, we do offer emergency after hours services. After 32 years as a dedicated friend and employee, our Lesia Vaught-Evans is RETIRING!!! Come help us celebrate her last day on March 29th at the clinic, come and go from 12-5 and have some cake and cookies with her. We all are going to miss her, but wish her a happy retirement!!
