And I followed a bumblebee as it visited my pink penstemon.

As a gardener, I love growing sunflowers. One seed grows in a hearty—and sometimes massive—plant. And I leave the plants up all winter because the seeds feed the wild birds.
I’m sharing this with you because Ukraine’s national flower is the sunflower. The sunflower is resilient and productive, even in the winter.
I’m sharing my late winter/early spring sunflowers in support of Ukraine—and as a reminder that Ukraine, like it’s national flower, is strong and resilient!

One more good use for eggs & tomatoes: scrambled eggs with a little cream cheese and a thick slice of tomato on a toasted everything bagel.
