Hi, I’m Honey Bee! I am looking for a new home!
I love people, playing with tennis balls and going on long walks!
I was rescued from an overcrowded animal shelter. I need a new family that will be patient and willing to work with me on my leash skills.

I can NOT be in a home with cats or other small animals resembling prey. I’m also dog-selective and need to be the only pet.
If you are patient with me, I will shower you with love and affection.

Note from the owner:
Honey Bee is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. She would be great as an only pet in a house with a fenced-in backyard, and parents that can work with her on her leash skills, and house manners. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows some commands like sit and down.

We aren’t sure how she is with children, but she jumps when excited. So I would recommend a home with teenage children.

NOTE FROM BAH: We LOVE Honey Bee she is the sweetest girl and deserves a home where she can run and play and be herself. The current owners are taking very good care of her. Please contact us if you or someone you know might make a good candidate to care for our girl.

Meet August Bullard 🍂 We received a call from our friends at about a puppy that had been left in a carrier with a pretty bad prolapse and in rough condition. We knew that experienced vet staff would be able to take of this intense surgery safely. He tested positive for parvo and still he survived. August will be available for adoption September 1st. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and ready for you! Fill out an application for August on our site Sxsr.org/adopt

Remember this little guy from a few weeks ago? He was dropped off in front of our building in a kennel. He had a prolapse and was not doing well so we got him to our rescue friends at Shelters and Shelves Rescue. They got him to a shelter that got him the surgery he needed and he was also diagnosed with parvo. He is now parvo free and has so much more energy! Thank you to the rescue for helping this sweet baby!

Someone left this poor baby outside our door this morning. He was covered in p*e and has a pretty pronounced pr*****ed re**um. We had Dr. Kimmerling examine him and are giving him a bath to send him to Shelters and Shelves Rescue to get him the proper care that he needs and deserves. He will need a pretty significant surgery with a specialist to get him taken care of. ❤️
