How could we resist this beautiful family for our dog(s) of the month!

John-Carlos and Bruce are the proud papa’s of Louis, who they describe as joyful; Violet who is gentle, and Sanibel who can be spirited - it sounds like it could be a Christmas movie 🎄🎅🎬!

We love that we get not 1, not 2, but 3 adorable snorts🐽, kisses😘 and hugs🤗. It brightens up our day when we see them on our schedule.

Kassio is back from Brazil 🇧🇷next week with a whole load of new grooming skills and experience 🐕✂️🐾, and boy have we missed him.

The less good news is that we’re already fully booked next week, and December is filling up fast, so if you want your fur baby looking and smelling their best for the holidays 🎄🎁 you need to get on our website 🧑‍💻 and book your slot quickly.

Remember we’re closed from December 24 to December 28, and will be offering limited bathing only spots on December 29 and 30 🥳🪩🕺.

Unlike many mobile groomers, we take on BIG dogs🐕‍🦺🐾. Just ask Blip our regular (170lb) Great Dane who is just 10lb shy of weighing the same as Carlos!

Even if it means getting down and cozy on the floor to dry them we get the job done! It’s the benefit of having two strong guys 🏋️‍♂️🏋️‍♂️grooming together that makes this possible.

So if you have a big dog you want bathed 🛁 and groomed ✂️, look no further.

Dogs lose dead fur all of the time (even short haired dogs), and lose a lot more when they switch coats for summer ☀️or winter❄️. This is called shedding, and the fur often ends up on your floors, carpets, or soft furnishings🛋️.

De-shedding is removing all of the dead fur while it’s still in their coat by using specially designed brushes. By doing this it prevents the fur ending up all over your home, and promotes healthy growth of new fur.

So if you’ve got fur in your home🏠 that you think would look better on us, next time you book add de-shedding, or talk to us to learn more.

Fun Fact - Some dog fur is highly prized. For example English Sheep Dog fur can be spun with wool and knitted into sweaters or scarves that sell for big bucks 🧣🤑💵!

So, the image we posted last Tuesday is actually a dog paw washer 🐶🐾🚿. These are simple and inexpensive devices that help clean your dog's paws easily, and with minimal mess at home.

Congratulations to Gail who guessed correctly on Facebook and will receive 20% off her next service with us.

Just fill with warm water, dunk your dogs paw in and out a few times and the soft rubber bristles will clean away the dirt in no time.

They are also great if your dog has allergies like our bulldogs. Dogs absorb allergens through their paws 🦠🐾 (not their noses like us) so a quick wash after a walk will wash away any allergens on the paws helping to reduce allergic reactions. You can also place a small amount of Chlorohexidine in the water to help fight bacteria and reduce the chances of infection.

You can pick these up on Amazon for $10 - $20, so a great addition to any dog household 🐶🏠, and a great way to keep your dogs paws clean and healthy between grooming.
