Recently went to an amazing gathering of regenerative farmers!

The annual APPPA conference is awesome!

Every year I go, this business gets stronger and the chickens get healthier.

20 mins to prep. One hour later you have fall-off-the bone chicken and out-of-control broth.

The 2025 weekend will bring together 65 local chefs and farmers to highlight the incredible talent and
craftsmanship that define Austin’s culinary scene.

The festival highlights Austin’s local food system, connecting the community to its food sources and deepening relationships with regional farmers and producers.

Since its inception in 2021, the festival has paid Central Texas chefs and farmers $102,676 for their products
and time.

Last weekend was the Annual Pastured Poultry Conference hosted by APPPA. All the speakers and folks I met, shared the dream of creating a food system that supports local communities & replenishes our resources.
