It's that time of year, y'all! Remember to keep your pets safe this holiday season by keeping all of your delicious holiday food on the table. Table scraps can lead to an array of health issues for our pets, from pancreatitis to blockages and worse.

We will be closed on Thursday 11/28 and Friday 11/29.

When in doubt, contact ASPCA poison control hotline or Austin Veterinary Emergency and Speciality hospital if your pet is having an emergency.

Solensia, a monoclonal antibody, is a therapeutic agent for cats suffering from osteoarthritis. This monthly injection lessens the influence of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) on the affected joints, thereby reducing the release of pain and inflammation mediators that trigger pain signals. Solensia has been shown to improve a cat's mobility and comfort, enhancing overall well-being. Signs of osteoarthritis in cats can include a struggle with jumping, using the litter box, or running. There may also be a decrease in playfulness, less grooming, or a shift in temperament. Stay tuned for more tips this
