Big Bertha got a makeover!

When I purchased the box and trailer two years ago I had the intention of putting the box back on a truck to its original form. It's been a long process but we finally got her done.

Big thanks to Justin Payton with Peyton Select Automotive in Heber Springs, for the awesome truck. Thanks to Orie Matthews for doing all the fabricating and custom work on the box.

Another big thanks to all of our friends, family, and clients for making this possible! Just another way we can make sure that can do our very best at training and taking care of your dog day to day!

The TTR crew had a great weekend at the Lake Charles and Cajun Riviera Double Master this past weekend.

The crew went 6/6 in the first master and 3/6 in the second master!

How we got started here at TTR: I established Tall Timber Retrievers in 2017 when I decided that I wanted to turn my passion into a career. Growing up in Arkansas, I have had a front row seat to some of the best duck hunting the US has to offer. I watched, on numerous occasions, dogs out work their owners when it came to picking up ducks. I started throwing birds for my uncle and watching his process on how he trained. It was there, where I fell in love with all things regarding training dogs. I purchased my first duck hunting dog at the age of 17. Echo, was the first dog that I had full control over with every step of the training process. With learning curves and all she helped solidify my love of training. I decided after I graduated high school that I wanted to train as a career. Which brought us to 2017 when I finally made that dream a reality. Since then, TTR has been blessed with some of the best clients and dogs this field has to offer.
