How sweet are these two??
Sweet Jasmine came in after an a**l gland rupture, and she was so brave through it all! To be safe, we ran bloodwork to make sure she was healthy enough for to be sedated. With our team member Payton by her side, we then clipped, cleaned, and flushed the area. Jasmine is now home with antibiotics, pain medication, ointment, and a stylish cone to keep her comfortable while she heals. We’re glad she’s on the mend and in good hands!

Ladybird came to us feeling a little ruff after 24 hours of vomiting and diarrhea🚨. We gave her the royal treatment with fluids, anti-nausea meds, and some take-home goodies like antibiotics and probiotics to firm up her stool. Here’s to a swift recovery, Ladybird! 🐾💊

With the heat still in full swing, remember that our furry friends feel it too! Walking your dog in hot weather can lead to heatstroke and other injuries. Here's why: Concrete and asphalt retain heat, making it much hotter for your pet, and these surfaces can burn their paw pads. When it’s above 80-85 degrees, it’s best to walk your dog in the early morning or at dusk. If that’s not possible, keep walks short and stay on the grass. Always provide plenty of water and watch for signs of heatstroke, such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, and confusion. If you notice any of these, bring your pet to us right away.

Meet Woofie- this brave girl came to see us after her owner noticed her limping and licking a wound on her leg 🐾 After a thorough cleaning of the area and an x-ray to rule out fractures, we bandaged her up. She’s now on the road to recovery! ❤️🩺💙

Goose came to visit us at after ingesting a small piece of a plastic lick mat! Luckily we were able to induce vomiting to recover it to be sure it didn’t cause an intestinal blockage so his owners could breathe easy. Kudos to Goose’s owners for being extra cautious!👏🐶❤️

Tis the season for environmental allergies!😳 Just like you might be feeling a bit extra sniffly this summer, many dogs are experiencing the effects of the allergens in the air lately- Lady was brought to us with some itchy skin! We gave her an anti inflammatory injection and sent her home with antibiotics to take care of any bacterial infections on her skin. Her owners will continue regular bathing as well to remove irritants from her coat. Feel better soon, Lady!

Thomas came to see us for some swelling and redness on one of his paws. We clipped the fur and thoroughly cleaned the area before sending him with some pain medication and an antibiotic to control any skin infection on the paw. We loved meeting Thomas and his owner and hope his paw feels better soon!🥰
Miss Nala was brought in to after her parents caught her snacking on a toy! We quickly induced vomiting and we’re able to retrieve the toy before it caused some bigger problems! We hope our ✨ Pet of The Week ✨ is on the road to recovery ❤️💙

Bella came in for a superficial cut on her tummy after she didn’t stick the landing while jumping over a fence. We clipped and cleaned the area before putting a couple staples in the cut to close it.
With that smile, we aren’t sure if she even knows she’s injured 🐶❤️ Time to build a bigger fence! 🤭

Howdy 🤠 came to see us for some vomiting. Since he likes to snack on his toys, we took x-rays and sent them off to a radiologist to rule out an intestinal blockage. Luckily there were no signs of one and his condition improved after an anti-nausea injection.

Here are some summer safety tips for walking dogs in the summer:
• Limit dog walks during the hottest hours of the day.
• Make sure you bring water for you and your dog and offer more water breaks!
• Avoid hot surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, wood, and sand. Walk on grass or use booties to protect their feet.
• Plan routes that have shaded areas where your dog can rest if needed.
*Be aware of symptoms like excessive panting, drooling, rapid heartbeat, fever, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice these, seek veterinary care immediately.*

Happy Caturday 🐱 Sound on for some kitty ASMR 🔈 This sweet guy came to see us after his owners noticed his eye bothering him and a lesion on his face. We used a woods lamp to determine if ringworm was a possibility and it was! We got him send home with some antibiotics for his eye, some eye drops and a recommendation for a cream to treat the ringworm.
