❤️Update on Faith ❤️
You may remember Faith from our posts when she was found barely alive on a side of road in Clevland TX. She had multiple surgeries and she literally was put together- she had broken pelvis, leg and a paw. She is now ready for a new home!
She is about 2 yo, sweet and gentle! Great with other dogs as well.

This adorable GSD puppy, only 8 weeks old and weighing just 15 lbs, is in a race against time. His life hangs in the balance – without a rescue hold by 1 PM on Monday, he will be killed by the shelter. Every second counts for this little soul who deserves a chance at life!

In this heart-wrenching image, the tiny GSD puppy stares directly into the camera with wide, pleading eyes that cry out for help. His soft fur, though slightly ruffled, contrasts sharply with the cold, sterile environment of the shelter kennel. The harsh lighting and bleak background only serve to amplify the fear and desperation in his gaze. Update on Joe:
Thank you everyone who supported us and donated towards Joe’s surgery! We so appreciate it. It is going to be a long recovery from surgery on his first hip and we still need to do a surgery on his second one. We desperately need a foster and we still need more donations as our bill will be close to $10k after all said and done. Thank you all for your support!

We have not been posting a lot as we have been focused on coming up with a plan for these 2 dogs that we recently pulled from Barc- Jeff and Joe. Jeff is severely malnourished, hw positive, has mange and other issues. Joe- double severe hip dysplasia and an old ancle injury that will make a recovery very complicated without a proper care. We desperately need a foster for Joe for him to have a chance to be happy and healthy ! 🙏

Alie is now home! She came to our rescue from RGV, very malnourished, she was on streets for months. I am very thankful to her foster, volunteers, transporters and adopters who made it all possible! ❤️🐶

Our sweet Thunder is now with his forever family ! He came to us so malnourished- literally skin and bones and couldn’t even eat at first. Thank you so much to everyone who helped him with the recovery and worked so hard for him to have a loving home- fosters, boarding partners, transporters and of course adopters!

Hazel is safe with our rescue! This girl was dumped by her owners because they didn’t have time for her. She came with a lot of missing hair, malnourished but super sweet! She was an emotional support dog.. I guess the owners didn’t need emotional support any longer. We are so thankful to everyone who joined their efforts and helped us to save her🐶❤️

It was noted that she vocalizes and pulls toward other dogs in the shelter environment. She is already spayed and she is heartworm negative so she is ready to leave the shelter today! Please be the person to give her the forever home that she very much deserves!

𝐇𝐀𝐙𝐄𝐋 is on the euthanasia list for "Behavior: Has become vocal towards other dogs. Pulling forward on leash, barking and snarling at another dog." Her life should not end in the shelter for that reason. 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 open up your heart and home to 𝐇𝐀𝐙𝐄𝐋!

1/15/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approach kennel and Hazel greeted me at the front with a tense body, low tail and dilated eyes. Hazel was easily leash and as we walk out of the row, another dog was turning the corner. As Hazel notice the dog, she started to pull forward on the leash, forward bark and snarled at the other dog. Will be placing her on "Adopt Eval" and monitor.

Notes indicate that she seems tense in the shelter environment, but that she is able to be leash and she is playful in the runs! She may not be feeling well as she has been having liquid diarrhea, which she is being treated for (please see medical notes and treatment history). She is also heartworm negative!

She has been placed on the euthanasia list for "Medical (GI), Behavior (overly aroused in kennel, painting, high pitch barking, jumping, very forward on leash, jumping on handler)." Her life should not end in the shelter for that reason. 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 open up your heart and home to 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐄!

1/9/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, Queenie had painted all over her kennel overnight and was continuously jumping on the kennel door while pawing and heavy panting. While leash walking, she held a very wiggly body while zigzagging on the leash. Once placed back, dog began to paw at the kennel door while yelping loudly as I passed by the kennel.
1/10/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, Queenie is very hyper and jumping on kennel door. I opened the kennel leashing her and she quickly walked out the kennel. She walked on a semi-tight lead pulling forward as I walked her outside and placed her in a run. She was very active in the runs, running back and forth.
1/11/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Overly aroused, painted al over her kennel, high pitch barking, jumping. As i open the kennel she is just jumping and trying to get out. Onced i placed the leash she very foward, in the runs she just running up and down. As i try to leash her she was just jumping, play bowing, running up and down. i lasso her and she ran out jumping on me.

📝 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
Twelve-year-old senior, 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐄, was turned in on 1/7/25 and euthanasia was requested. She has lost her home, her family and all that is familiar to her! Notes indicate that she seems tense in the shelter environment, but that she is able to be leash and she is playful in the runs! She may not be feeling well as she has been having liquid diarrhea, which she is being treated for (please see medical notes and treatment history). She is also heartworm negative!

She has been placed on the euthanasia list for "Medical (GI), Behavior (overly aroused in kennel, painting, high pitch barking, jumping, very forward on leash, jumping on handler)." Her life should not end in the shelter for that reason. 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 open up your heart and home to 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐄!

📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
1/9/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, Queenie had painted all over her kennel overnight and was continuously jumping on the kennel door while pawing and heavy panting. While leash walking, she held a very wiggly body while zigzagging on the leash. Once placed back, dog began to paw at the kennel door while yelping loudly as I passed by the kennel.
1/10/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, Queenie is very hyper and jumping on kennel door. I opened the kennel leashing her and she quickly walked out the kennel. She walked on a semi-tight lead pulling forward as I walked her outside and placed her in a run. She was very active in the runs, running back and forth.
1/11/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Overly aroused, painted al over her kennel, high pitch barking, jumping. As i open the kennel she is just jumping and trying to get out. Onced i placed the leash she very foward, in the runs she just running up and down. As i try to leash her she was just jumping, play bowing, running up and down. i lasso her and she ran out jumping on me.

Muffin is a 3 mo puppy that has been struggling on streets of Cleveland and Cafe from Barc are now safe with our rescue! ❤️🐶

So thankful to our fosters, adopters, boarding partners and transporters for all the help with our 2 babies - they went north this weekend and now Gromm ( aka German from Barc) and Teddy ( from Cleavland) are with thier furever families. ❤️🐶
