‼️Help needed‼️We went to meet Conor today- a senior guy who was a cruelty case and ended up in Barc on euth list after everything he went through. This poor guy is so malnourished😭😭. We desperately need funds for a cat scan to investigate his neck and chest situation ( he was choked severely by his primary owners) and xrays cannot show what is needed. Estimate is $2500. We don’t have these funds. Please help if you can🙏We will be working meanwhile on getting him weight back. He lost 17 lbs while he was in Barc.

I wanted to express sincere appreciation to everyone who has stepped up and provided us support in these difficult times- donors, fosters and transporters! 🥰🙏 We ended up with 3 dogs ( Zeus, Zuri and Coner) in one day that we didnt plan for and 2 of them are very medical- numerous transports, vet visits, etc- thank you so much to transporters, fosters and our supporters! We so appreciate you! 🥰

So thrilled to announce that Dixie ( fka Larch) is finally out of shelter ( ) after being there for almost a year! Welcome to our rescue, baby girl!

‼️We desperately need help with Zeus‼️He was shot, stabbed and after several weeks with us he still is not in good shape - we are trying different options and different vets to get answers and solutions. His wounds are not healing, he is on pain meds and we already over $1000 in vet bills and still have ways to go and need to have a surgery on his paw. Any help will be very appreciated!

It has been so long since we made any updates - it has been very crazy between all the intake, transport, vetting, photo sessions.. we are so so thankful to all volunteers who helped with so many things! Sam, Vlad, Fox, Paul, Chloe, Jenny and Jane, Allie, Lola and Beyonce are now with thier forever families! These pups came from Barc, Lufkin shelter, Taylor shelter, Montgomery county shelter, streets and also as owner surrenders.

Update:
Sweet Nadya has been adopted ! So so happy for our babies and excited for them to have wonderful homes!

As you may know Sofia ( aka Suzie from Barc) ended up being pregnant and then had 7 babies. One died 😭😭, 5 got adopted and Nadya is still looking for her forever home! She is now 5 weeks old. ❤️🐶. All her brothers and sisters got adopted and adopters are waiting for babies to get vetted.
We didn’t even had a chance to have a baby shower for these mama and babies. We would appreciate any help with this family as we didn’t anticipate so many expenses when we pulled Suzie from Barc🙏🙏

Update!
Sandy found a wonderful home! We super excited for this girl and for her new chapter in life!

Meet Sandy! She is beautiful, sweet and laid back. 🥰🐶 She has an absolutely gorgeous coat- chocolate with white strikes and beautiful eyes- one eye is blue and another one is brown.

She has been our longest resident - mainly because we thought her foster would be adopting her but it didn’t take place and now this girl is looking for a furever home! She is about 5 years old but very calm, sweet and just wants to be with you. She walks good on leash. She came a long way! When we picked her up in Cleveland TX she was in a rough shape. She is beautiful now.
Her paw got damaged and she limps. Surgery, unfortunately, can’t fix the problem. It doesn’t slow her down though! She loves to play with other dogs.

‼️SOS‼️We are in a desperate need for donations towards medical cost of these 2 sweet dogs- Jett and Vlad! Jett unexpectedly ended up in ER with pneumonia and Vlad turned out to have a previous injury and needs to have a surgery to help to fix it- it is more than $6,500 in medical bills!
Vlad needs a foster for 4-6 weeks to help to recover after the surgery! Please help if you can!! 🙏

It has been an absolutely crazy week for us between all the intake, fundraisers, transportation and meet and greets and we didn’t have a chance to make all the updates.
So here it goes! Max, Charlie, Vlad, Nacho and Lola- welcome to our rescue! We are thrilled you are with us!

We surely didn’t plan for so many dogs to come in one week but Barc had so many on euth list!

And we are short of fosters! Vlad has only a couple days with a foster and Charlie is in boarding already. Both are super sweet and dog friendly!
If someone could help - we would so appreciate it! Boarding is obviously better than Barc or being killed but it is so stressful for German Shepherds to be in boarding!
