Hey there! I'm Ken, and my company (kenwalksdogs.com) is seeking a part-time Dog Walker and/or Pet Sitter to join our team! This position is an hourly W2 employee position (NOT a 1099 independent contractor position!) and begins at $15/hr, plus tips, mileage reimbursement, commission, and bonuses. All employees are eligible for an automatic wage increase after 90 days of employment. This truly is the best job imaginable - you'll spend each day exploring one of the coolest cities ever, and making plenty of furry friends along the way. We cater to dogs who need a little "something more" from their daily walks - while you'll drop in on plenty of dogs who only need a quick potty break or stretch during the workday, you'll also participate and assist in various field trips and adventure activities, including: * Swimming lessons and puppy pool parties * Pet store visits for safe indoor walks during inclement weather * Visits to dog-friendly State Parks * Nature hikes on the Barton Creek greenbelt This job is for someone who... * is PASSIONATE about their excitement for dogs * remains HYPER-AWARE of the well-being, health and safety of dogs in their possession * is a SUPPORTIVE INDIVIDUAL capable of reciprocating the support of their teammates out on the field in any situation * Remains COGNIZANT of the critical urgency in ensuring the completion of all assigned tasks * Enjoys the OURDOORS - can maintain personal health and safety in hot temperatures and various inclement weather * UNDERSTANDS other humans, and can communicate comfortably with, and help pet parents feels safe, comfortable, and at ease during each service Your tasks are assigned to you each day using our own mobile dog walking app - our amazing and loyal customers can schedule a wide variety of services like walks, field trips, adventures, etc - you'll have access to their dog's pickup details and check-in upon arrival. Mobile check-in with our app allows our customers to receive updates

Best way to kick off the weekend! Yes, they made me get in and yes, it was SO SO SO cold 😂 invigorating, for sure! This is Olive’s first time swimming with her muzzle on and in five minutes, she taught herself how to retrieve Carlos’s toys from the water using only her arms and chest. Taking a moment to acknowledge the incredible life of my best friend Zero, who passed away this weekend after a long, wonderful life.
