It’s PUPPY-PA-LOOZA over here at TRAPRS right now! 🐾😬

‼️URGENT short term fosters or adopters needed!

A few months back, we rescued 3 street dog mamas, one who was about to pop and two who gave birth a week later.

That means we have an influx of puppies that need to find homes NOW! 🙏

One of our foster parents needs to move a crew of 9 urgently so even if you’d like to foster for a few weeks while we vet applications, that would be a lifesaver! 🚨

Or if you already know you want to adopt, you can foster-to-adopt to add a new family member.

Allen is a male, Aussie mix last seen wearing a bright orange harness.

Allen got spooked and bolted away from his new home when a guest came over while his family was out. 💔 He has not been seen since the wee hours today.😭

He is already so fearful of humans and in complete flight mode — we need to find him.

We need everyone in this area to be hyper-vigilant and alert us if you spot him! 👀

It is VITAL that you do NOT CHASE him and please help us get the word out right away!

🥹 Future TRAPRS team members?!

Talk about a feel-good Friday! 🥰

A student of one of our team member’s, who gets to hear a lot about what we do and the animals in our care, decided to get some friends together and hold a fundraiser for TRAPRS. 🙌

By selling sparkling water out of the wagon mobile, they raised an impressive $80 for our pups!🥰

💔 We can’t make this stuff up.

Cindy Lou was just dumped by the trash at the end of our foster’s driveway. 😡

What foster parent you ask? Oh just the one who currently already has mama Celeste and her NINE puppies.🙈

There’s no place to put Cindy Lou and we need a foster STAT. 😭

She’s getting to our vet in the morning & then we will know if we are expecting pups or if she was cruelly dumped without hers.💔

It’s AMPLIFY AUSTIN DAY!🎉💙

With our shelter closed to intake, TRAPRS helps fill the gap where it’s needed most in our community. We take on dogs others won’t - those hit by cars, dumped or abandoned, in need of emergency surgery, pregnant moms, moms with puppies and so much more. 😭

In addition to street dog rescue, our fully volunteer team spends hundreds of hours per week on lost pet recovery - tracking and trapping owned dogs who have gone missing throughout the greater Austin area. 🐾

The community’s support is what helps us be able to continue saving the lives of Austin animals!

These are just a few of our happy endings, reunifications and lives saved. 💙

Sweet Sunny needs your help! ☀️

After her wild rescue in the middle of the highway median at rush hour, just before sunset (hence the name 😉) she’s been decompressing and has moved into her long term foster home. 🏡

She’s got ear infections, skin infections, sores all over, a limp on her back leg and our poor girl is so underweight and malnourished. 😞

She has her big vet appt this week to keep her on her healing journey.🩺
