Happy Independance Day! If you got a 4 legged friend, get them outside and enjoy the fireworks together. If you have struggles, here is a idea:

Today is a great day to help alleviating your dog's anxiety with fireworks. Do it the right way: small steps, gently, responsibly, focusing on positive reinforcement, etc.

Coddling a dog during fireworks can inadvertently reinforce their fear. When you comfort a frightened dog, they may interpret it as a reward for their anxious behavior, thus perpetuating the cycle of fear. Instead, it's more effective to acclimatize them to loud noises gradually. By not giving in to their fears and demonstrating calm behavior yourself, you help them learn that fireworks are not a threat, ultimately reducing their anxiety over time.
