While on the road, T’Lula requests that we stop often. I truly believe she thinks and green space on the side of the road is a park just for her 💯 Often, our first stop is a dog park and did not disappoint. Park entrance fee is $2 and well worth it for Lula to cool her 🐾 in the lake and the dog wash station.

For the Love of AdVANture

Hi all! My love of the road started when I was kid traveling with my family in the back of old VW bus. Usually I was trying not to get sick from the fumes while we drove the twists and turns of the PCH, but I loved it nonetheless. Fast forward to 2009, when life hit me hard, as in country song style hard. I sold all my belongings, bought a 15' 1967 Prowler travel trailer that I named Wanda, and hit the road to eventually land in Austin, TX. After a decade of sitting still, the #Vanlife bug bit me on the bum and Big Frida the Van was born. Big Frida is my way of being able to explore this wonderful country of ours. Hopefully she can help you do the same, and look great doing it!
