Our Story
Thanks for checkin' The Little Darlin' out! ::: Serving Austin since April 22, 2016! The team of owners- Mimi Rose (co-owner of Yellow Jacket Social Club), Mike Sanchez (Emo's- back in its 'hay day'), Brian Buscemi (Emo's, Buzzmill, Midway Field House) and Karinne Thornblom (former owner Clementine Coffee Bar, Black Star Co-op) collectively wanted to create an inviting space serving excellent, locally sourced food, aspiring to preserve a piece of the city that reflects the beautiful, progressive 'melting pot,' that is their/our beloved Austin. With a huge outdoor patio, folks can sip on local, craft beers and cocktails, chow down on locally sourced, delicious, southern flare food, while swinging on a bench swing or parkin' it at a picnic table. Enjoy some back yard fun! We have 2 washer and 2 horseshoe pits, ready for some friendly competition. And the rain won't kill all fun: we have a couple of dart boards on our covered patio, and pool tables inside. ***ALL ORDERS ARE PLACED AT THE BAR*** food orders will receive a number, and our friendly staff will zip it out to you and your pie-hole as soon as it's ready. *** Dogs are happily welcomed, as long as both owner and pup(s) mind their manners ;) You will be asked to enter via the outdoor gate (to the right of the entrance) to es**rt your 4-legged friend out back. *** *** All minors must be accompanied by a parent/ legal guardian at all times. After 9 PM, we are strictly 21+ *** Seating is first come, first serve- we do not take reservations. For parties of 50+, tables/ space may be reserved with a deposit.
