February is National Pet Dental Health Month🦷

Pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by a veterinarian for early signs of problems and to keep pets healthy, but we know that access to affordable veterinary care is a challenge for many families.

In fact, we estimate 60 million pets in the U.S. belong to families who do not have access to veterinary care they can afford, and we project that 40 million of those pets will experience dental disease. 

Thanks to the support of , we’re working to change that. Last year, we opened the nation’s first low-cost Dental and Surgical Center in Austin, Texas. 🎉

Since then, our specialized team has grown, we’ve treated thousands of pets, and we’re continuing to expand access to affordable dental and surgical care in Central Texas and beyond. 🏥

We knew when we opened this center that the demand for these services was high, and that the lack of low-cost options puts pet owners in incredibly difficult situations. We’re proud to be part of the solution. 💙
