Earlier this week I wrote a post about pets and CBD, and how they can truly benefit from it. ⁣

So I want to Give you this easy recipe to make some CBD treats for your dogs 🐶⁣

Sure, You can just put our CBD tincture directly on their food with a dropper, But⁣
Our dogs give us so much love, why not give them a special treat this Valentines day by making these Yummy CBD treats? 💕 ⁣

* first a word about dosing * ⁣

**the CBD in this recipe is based on using ReL Hemp's 300mg unflavored tincture.⁣
and these amounts are PER TREAT. ⁣
⁣
***If you have never used CBD with your pet, you can start even lower for your first batch of treats and gauge what kind of a difference you notice in your pets anxiety level or pain. ⁣
⁣
for dogs under 10lbs we recommend 1/4 of a dropper (@ 2.5mg) ⁣
for dogs from 10-20lbs 1/2 dropper () 20-50 lbs 1full dropper (10mg) and for 50lbs and up 1 and 1/2 dropper () ⁣

NO BAKE CBD Pumpkin Oat Dog Treats ⁣
Ingredients: ⁣

2 Cups Pumpkin Puree **⁣
3 Tbsp Honey⁣
3 Cups Rolled Oats⁣
3 Tbsp Coconut oil ⁣
CBD Tincture⁣

** be sure your pumpkin puree doesn't contain any sweeteners or preservatives, be especially careful of xylitol as it is extremely toxic to dogs! ⁣

Step 1: It’s important to discuss CBD as a viable treatment option with your vet before you go ahead and give some to your pet. You need to know if it will interact with any of your pet’s current medications or health conditions, because of how it is metabolized within the body. ⁣

Step 2: Don’t look for a bargain When it comes to CBD, you don’t want to skimp on price. You want CBD products that have been responsibly and correctly formulated, are completely free of contaminants, and contain only the ingredients listed on the product label.⁣
⁣
Step 3: Start low, go slow If your veterinarian gave the green light, you may be wondering how much CBD to give your pet. Whether you’re using h**p CBD for pain relief or for anxiety, the right dosage can vary by pet and situation. A good rule of thumb is to start on low end of the range of 1-5mg CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight, and expect to see results in 30 to 60 minutes. ⁣

Step 4: Watch your pet for 2-3 hours after After first giving your pet CBD, it’s important to stay with them for 2-3 hours to watch for any reactions. CBD causes very few side effects, though it does interact with some medications. So, it’s important that both you and your vet are on the same page with your pet’s treatment.⁣

Here’s a great laugh! Enjoy, ATX Super Sitters Family!
So I was at the store earlier with my service dog. The lady in front of me at checkout had about $200 worth of toilet paper in her shopping cart. With an attitude she asked me what type of dog I had. I told her it was my service dog. Then she got real snarky and said, I knew that. What type of service? I said he was a BLD. By now he was licking her face and hands being super friendly. She said, what is a BLD? I told her it stood for Butt Licking Dog. She said Butt Licking Dog? I said yeah, he has been trained to lick my butt clean because I can't seem to be able to find toilet paper because of hoarders. The cashier completely lost it.
