This evening I received such a special gift from Matt Chlapek. His mom found this Newspaper article on Jessie Girl from April 2015. Jodi Kanz had brought this article to work and by April 18th she was mine. I am forever grateful to Matt and Jodi. Jessie was so loved for the 5 years it took me to get there. A few tears tonight. So very very grateful. Fly high sweet girl we miss you

Well I think it’s time to cry just a bit more tonight. Jessie Girl was so special to so many. Joe is one of those very special people that loved Jessie at HLSPCA even before her name was Jessie AKA Clover (shout out to Bill as well). Joe made this beautiful plaque in her honor. Thanks Jodi Kanz and Matt Chlapek for delivering it to me over a very nice lunch visit. Without the two of you I would never have been graced to have her! Jessie, you are missed and loved beyond measure! Fly high big girl!

We had to say goodbye to Jessie Girl this afternoon and to say I am heartbroken would be an understatement. She has been my partner in crime for 7+ years and there will never be another like her. Fly high sweet girl, keep watch and I'll see you again someday. LOVE YOU! BEST GIRL EVER!
