Most of the time people speak about mushrooms and fungus it has to do with either psychedelics or food. But that is drastically too narrow a point of view to show proper respect for these incredible organisms. What else can they do? As far as the imagination expands and beyond would only slightly scrape the surface of a group of organisms so large that humans STILL have only hardly begun to fully grasp their vastness and importance to life on our planet and, likely beyond it.

Since the beginning of our understanding of the evolution of life on Earth, fungus has played an absolutely CRUCIAL role by using the rapidly evolving chemical mechanisms and characteristics to produce the very ground beneath our feat and the meat suits which we temporarily call our own.

Incubation chamber is rocking despite this hellish heat “wave.” We’ve been scaling up further than ever before and taking orders of bulk mushroom substrate blocks like these beauties. Some of the best strains around the nation as picked by myself and ‘s R&D head, Louis. ‘s oysters and lion’s mane, Fallen Oak’s own native Texas oysters and lion’s mane, ‘ maitake from back in the Brazilian block days… Stoked to have all the pieces falling together after the past few years.
