Goodmorning. It is with a heavy heart that I have to say our sweet Sophia the sloth has passed away. She lived a long 32 years of life, the majority of it being with us. She was a rescue initially that we took in, but slowly became part of the core staple that holds Zoo Keeper Exotics together and in the hearts of all of our customers.

She will be forever missed and forever an honorary Keeper family member.

🐢TURTLE TIP.🐢

Hi all, it is officially the beginning of turtle nesting season, meaning more and more aquatic turtles are going to be out of the water trying to lay eggs. If you discover a turtle out of the water but in a safe place please leave it be! If you find a turtle in the road, gently nudge it towards the direction it was heading. It severely stresses the animal taking it from its natural environment. Do not try to take the turtles inside as pets or bring them here. Let the wildlife stay wild.
