I left a bag of raw peanuts out where I feed the squirrels. I didn't realize I had till I was looking for it. I wanted to feed them before it started to rain. A critter found the bag and took the contents. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I managed to get these kids out several times this morning and they were fed. So I was going to move my car closer to the house so I could start loading it up then it started to rain hard with thunder.

If you have items to donate to the Texas Floods you can do this at Lakeway Nights Farmer's Market starting 3 pm today and you can also find some tasty treats to purchase.

Oh man, my last night here. Cleaning up after this messy week. So many towels were used. This poor little guy had so much mess on his face that I bathed him. I wiped his eyes every day.

I love Tomlinson's Feed. I bought these and had them delivered. The pups didn't want the minnows. If they eat them all the time, they get tired of them. I'm thinking their mom bought these often. The sticks were not as big as I thought. Tomlinson took them back without question. I purchased more of the items these kids liked, some other chews, and I was out of p**p bags, so I got a box of those.
I like going to the store but love shopping online with the Free delivery.

🚨 EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED with flooding in Kerr County!

The Guadalupe River is overflooded and has caused loss of life and devastation in Kerr County. We believe there will be a lot of pets hurt and displaced during this, and our support is needed.

Our teams are already in Kerrville, providing medical care onsite and beginning to transport animals. We will be working with Kerrville Pets Alive over the next several days and bringing pets from the Kerr County shelter to APA!

We need your help! Here’s how you can support:

🚙 Volunteer to drive to the hill country to pick up animals and/or bring supplies, support the intake, care and placement of onsite animals, and/or help accept and sort supplies onsite at APA! for the next few days

🐾 Sign up to emergency foster a dog or cat to make space for incoming animals

📦 Donations of supplies like pet food (dog and cat, both wet and dry), pet carriers, tarps, and towels. Supplies can be dropped off at our Cesar Chavez location until 7pm today (7/4) and then again tomorrow (7/5) from 8am-6pm

The kids are sleeping but Tomlinson's Feed just delivered the tasty treats I ordered for them.

I took them out for a potty break. They had their harness and leash on and we got to the street and it started to pour down rain. Lol we ran back in.
The hawk is still out in the back yard area I saw the big one this morning.

Today, I was waiting to hear about Theo's progress. I was responsible for attending to the needs of him and his sisters this past weekend. I had been told that he was not feeling well. I have just been notified that this young boy had developed a cancerous growth, which was the underlying cause of his illness. Unfortunately, the decision was made to put him to sleep. Please offer your support to his parents. They cherished him greatly.
It’s heartbreaking but I’m so glad I was able to care for him hold and carry him. 💔🐶

I cooked for these silly kids. They all ate. I cleaned the kitchen. They’ve been outside so often. Now with full bellies they nap. I need to go to H‑E‑B but I have peanut butter so I may wait till tomorrow.
