Meet the Doctor:

Dr. Rita Geigel was born in San Antonio, but grew up in San Juan Puerto Rico. She did her undergrad and graduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating from the Veterinary School in 1990. She and her husband moved to Austin in 1991, where she raised 3 beautiful and talented daughters while working as a Relief and Emergency veterinarian all over Austin and the surro

unding areas. This September, Dr. Geigel took ownership over Windsor Park Veterinary Clinic in East Austin bringing her extensive small animal experience to this area as well as her bilingual skills in English and Spanish. Four times a year she travels to Mexico, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador to teach spaying and neutering to the local Veterinary Schools. Dr. Geigel spends much of her time attending different educational courses to continue to stay up to date with the latest in veterinary developments; as well as to provide the best care to her patients.
