After getting her clean bill of health from her cancer battle, lil Gracie is back on the market after her pending adoption fell through 😔.

But that's ok, this little girl will wait for the perfect family!

Gracie is house broken and potty pad trained. She is also just the most loving thing you could ever hope for. After being pulled from the Chihuahua hoard in Lockhart with 100 dogs, you would honestly never have guessed something so perfect could come from that. But Gracie is just so incredibly happy to be where she is today, in a warm home and bed, getting loved on, and cancer free! Now all she needs for her happily ever after is the perfect family ❤️

Gracie is about 5-6 years old and about 7 lbs. Her blue bald spots are a generic trait, and will most likely never grow blue fur. But her skin and fur are so soft, you just have to spend all day petting and kissing her, and she wouldn't want it any other way!

Ophelia Pupdate!

We are a week out of surgery from having Ophelia's liver shunt surgery, and so far our little sweet girl is doing great 💗. We are having to keep her sedated with pain meds so that she doesn't hurt herself or cause damage to her surgery site, but she doesn't mind having extra naps as long as she is with her humans.

She will have her first check up next week, so until then she will get lots of rest and kisses!

We are so surprised 😮 that Maleficent the model has not been scooped up yet!

At 8 yrs young and 8 lbs, Mal makes the perfect travel companion! After adjusting to her foster family she became the perfect pup ❤️. It's hard to imagine that she had been returned to the shelter twice for bad behavior 😮🥺. Now, she does great meeting new people, and often goes out with her foster crew for outings.

Maleficent craves adventure and glamour 😍 💍💄. She is looking for a family who will treat her like one of their own. Someone to take her out of the house, to a brunch, or maybe some cute boutiques, ohhh or a market! Oh, and bonus points if she has an outfit to celebrate 🥂 any event or trip.

Congratulations Maizie!

After months of waiting for her forever family, Maizie hit the jackpot! She found parents that are going to give her the best care possible to help her live out her golden years as comfortably and long as they can ❤️. We are so grateful for this family for coming and loving her so quickly, and giving her the happy ending sweet baby Maize deserves 🥹🥰

Meet Poppy, a resilient little dog who came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. When Poppy first arrived, she was terrified and struggling with a severe skin condition that required baths every other day. 😔 She was scared, didn’t trust people, and needed a lot of time and care to heal.

But with persistence, patience, and lots of love, Poppy has blossomed into the happy, healthy dog she is today. Thanks to her dedicated foster parents and our amazing volunteers, Poppy is now living her best life, filled with love and trust! 💖

🐾 Meet Parker: Our Giving Tuesday Hero! 🐾

This Giving Tuesday, we want to introduce you to Parker—a sweet, energetic 2-3-year-old Chi mix who has already overcome so much. 💖

Parker was found by a kind Good Samaritan with an obviously broken front leg. 💔 Thanks to their quick action, Parker got the urgent care he needed at Austin Animal Center and after surgery to repair his leg, he’s now on the road to recovery. While Parker is supposed to be resting and taking it easy, it’s a little tough for this 4.75 lb bundle of energy! 😜

Parker’s journey shows the power of rescue and the incredible impact your donations have. Every dollar you give helps dogs like Parker receive vital medical care, recovery time, and all the support they need to heal and thrive in a home setting vs a shelter.

Ophelia Pupdate!

We are so thankful for the donations we have received so far ❤️ for Ophi and for giving Tuesday! So please continue to donate and share.

Thanks to your donations, we were able to do the CT scan yesterday needed for Ophelia's liver shunt surgery this morning, and it may have saved her life!

The scan was critical in helping Dr. Buscuñán with Monarch Pet Surgery prepare. The CT scan was able to show that the portal vein was undersized, and wouldn't be sufficient to support the full flow of blood once the shunt was corrected. But Dr. Buscuñán was able to review with multiple peers and they came up with a plan b that would help close off the shunt slower so that her portal vein would have time to strengthen.

The last 16 hours have been a whirlwind of emotions and worry for sweet Ophi. But we have officially received updates from her surgeon and Southpaw Animal Care that she's out of surgery and resting up so that she can come home this evening.

Gracie Lou Pupdate!

Gracie is officially cancer free!! After having a large chain mammary tumor removed, all of her results came back amazing and no additional masses were found 💗. Sweet Gracie is ready for her forever family! She is pending adoption and we are taking backups. Now that she is all healed up and tests are completed, nothing can hold this sweet girl back!

This girl really deserves all the greatest things in life. It's hard to believe this lil girl came from a hoard with 100 dogs, she's just glowing!

Ophelia Pupdate!

Lil Ophi is at her CT scan appt for the day! To prep for the appointment, she had to have some Trazodone and boy did it knock her out ... until she saw the vet tech, who she decided was her new best friend and she perked right up to attack her with all the kisses and lovins she could 💕. We are really going to have a fun time keeping her calm after her operation 😅.

Ophelia will be sedated, and get a CT scan of her liver in preparation for her operation tomorrow. We are hoping for good findings and an easy operation for our sweet lil crazy pants. We are still in need of donations for her surgery.
