Fallon the Fanged Beauty is still looking for her family!
Fallon came to us absolutely terrified, and she’s spent the last few months learning how to feel safe again. She is not a turnkey dog. She’s a quiet, gentle soul who has made amazing progress, but she’s still very much a work in progress.
Fallon is great with other dogs and follows their lead beautifully. With people, she wants to connect but her fear gets in the way. Right now she’s comfortable taking treats, following the routine, and letting her foster handle her in the crate. Out in the open, she still needs space — no sudden hands, no expectations, just patience.
Fearful dogs like Fallon don’t “get better in a week.” Their healing follows a slow, steady timeline that could look like this:
✨ Months 1–3: building trust, learning your routine, softening
✨ Months 3–6: beginning to accept gentle touch in safe moments
✨ Months 6-12: continuing her bloom and settling into real companionship
Fallon will thrive in a calm home with someone who understands slow-burn dogs — someone who celebrates tiny milestones and doesn’t need instant affection. In return, you’ll get to watch a little life open up in the most beautiful way.
If you’re looking for an easy, snuggly lap dog right now, Fallon is not your girl.
If you’re the kind of person who knows that the best relationships take time, she might be your once-in-a-lifetime dog.
